Matagumpay na isinagawa ang Ceremonial Turnover ng limang (5) Nego-Kart (Negosyo Food Cart) para sa mga piling benepisyaryo mula sa Bayan ng Majayjay, sa ilalim ng DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

Ang programang ito ay bunga ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Majayjay sa pangunguna ni Mayor Romeo Amorado na makapaghatid ng konkretong tulong at suporta sa ating mga ambulant vendors upang higit pang mapaunlad, mapalago, at mapatatag ang kanilang kabuhayan.

Taos-puso tayong nagpapasalamat sa Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office IV-A at Laguna Field Office sa kanilang walang sawang pakikipagtulungan at suporta sa ating bayan, sa pangunguna ni Regional Director Atty. Erwin N. Aquino, Senior Labor and Employment Officer Ms. Lorena Gacosta, at DOLE Representative Ms. Rhea Cacao.

Patuloy na magsisilbing katuwang ng mamamayan ang Peso Majayjay Laguna sa paghahatid ng mga programa at serbisyong may kaugnayan sa employment facilitation, livelihood assistance, skills training, career development, labor market information, at iba pang oportunidad na naglalayong mapabuti ang antas ng pamumuhay ng ating mga kababayan.

Sama-sama nating isinusulong ang mas maraming oportunidad, mas matatag na kabuhayan, at mas maunlad na Majayjay para sa lahat.

Mula sa buong tanggapan ng Mayor’s Office Annex, Public Employment Service Office, at Business Permits and Licensing Office, taus-puso po naming ipinapaabot ang aming pagbati at pasasalamat sa inyong tapat at mahusay na paglilingkod sa bayan.

Nawa’y patuloy kayong pagkalooban ng mabuting kalusugan, lakas ng pangangatawan, at mas marami pang biyaya upang maipagpatuloy ang inyong adhikain para sa kapakanan ng mamamayan. Ang inyong dedikasyon, malasakit, at tunay na pamumuno ay nagsisilbing inspirasyon sa marami.

The PESO Majayjay successfully conducted an Employment Coaching session for 25 trainees currently enrolled in the Bread and Pastry Production NC II program at FDC Training Center in Brgy. Suba, Majayjay, Laguna.

The activity aimed to equip participants with essential job readiness skills, including resume writing, effective job application techniques, interview preparation, and confidence-building as they prepare to enter the workforce.

The program was further highlighted by the presence and support of Acting Municipal Mayor Hon. Juan Ariel A. Argañosa, Jr., whose message inspired the trainees to remain determined and to maximize their skills as they pursue better employment opportunities.

PESO Majayjay remains committed to delivering programs that enhance the employability of its constituents, opening doors to greater opportunities and sustainable livelihoods for the people of Majayjay.

The Local Government Unit of Majayjay warmly welcomed the student-beneficiaries of the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) as they officially start their work in the municipality.

Their first days were filled with meaningful activities, including an orientation and a courtesy call with Acting Municipal Mayor Hon. Juan Ariel A. Argañosa, Jr. and Municipal Administrator Mr. Enrique "B**g" S. Vargas, who shared encouraging words and reminded them of the important role young people play in serving the community.

To help them prepare for their responsibilities, Mr. Cj Rubiales, PESO Focal Person, led the Work Ethics Orientation under the guidance of PESO Manager Ms. Maricel Granada. The session emphasized the importance of professionalism, accountability, and integrity in the workplace, as well as key practices to observe during their employment—such as punctuality, proper conduct, respect for colleagues, and dedication to their assigned tasks.

As they move forward, may this opportunity help them grow, gain confidence, and discover the true essence of serving others. 💼✨

The 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗣𝗘𝗦𝗢) 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗮𝘆𝗷𝗮𝘆 successfully conducted a 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 session aimed at equipping students with the knowledge and competencies necessary for informed career decision-making and workforce readiness. The activity was led by 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗩. 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮, with the support of her staff members, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗖𝗷 𝗥𝘂𝗯𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗘𝘇𝗿𝗮 𝗟𝘆𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗮.

The program was attended by 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟮 - 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, demonstrating strong engagement and interest in career preparedness and labor market awareness. The session covered key topics including 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, emphasizing strategic decision-making and alignment of individual skills and interests with appropriate career pathways; 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗟𝗠𝗜), providing students with relevant insights on current employment trends, in-demand occupations, and workers’ rights and responsibilities; and 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝘀, highlighting the importance of professionalism, integrity, discipline, and accountability in the workplace.

The office extends its sincere appreciation to 𝗦𝘁𝗮. 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 for its warm welcome and strong partnership, under the leadership of Mr. Reynaldo Villaluz - Principal , Mrs. Lorelyn Peñalosa - Head Teacher, and the Career Advocate and Guidance Counselor of the Senior High School Department Mrs. Madelyn Patron, as well as the faculty members and students who actively participated in the activity.

This initiative reflects the continued commitment of Mayor Romeo Amorado thru PESO Majayjay to empower the youth through relevant career guidance and labor education, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the demands of the evolving labor market.
