On this 84th Commemoration of Araw ng Kagitingan, we pay solemn tribute to the heroes of Bataan, whose profound courage and ultimate sacrifice continue to define our nation’s enduring spirit.

The Armor ‘Pambato’ Division, as an integral component of the Philippine Army, proudly upholds this legacy of valor. Today, our soldiers exemplify modern-day Kagitingan—serving with unwavering honor, resilience, and dedication to the Filipino people.

May the heroism of the past serve as a perpetual inspiration, urging us to stand united, safeguard our freedom, and carry forward the torch of valor for generations to come.

𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗛 𝗜𝗡 𝗕𝗥𝗚𝗬 𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗧 𝗘𝗙𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦

Munai, Lanao del Norte — The 5th Mechanized Infantry (Kaagapay) Battalion turned over Madrasah improvements in Brgy. Ramain on 07 April 2026, providing immediate benefits to the community.

The unit officially handed over newly built communal comfort rooms for men and women, along with two (2) blackboards, to Hon. Mayaman B. Orong, Chairman of Brgy. Ramain. The activity was witnessed by Mr. Jamal P. Sammy, Municipal Mayor’s Secretary of Munai, and Hon. Abdullatip A. Apone, Chairman of Brgy. Lindongan.

The Madrasah previously lacked proper sanitation facilities and learning tools. The new comfort rooms now provide a safe and sanitary space, while the blackboards support better classroom instruction.

Lieutenant Colonel Francisco Butch B. Canzado, Commanding Officer, led the activity and highlighted the value of small but impactful projects in addressing community needs.

The local government and residents expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting its direct benefit to students. The activity also strengthened civil-military cooperation and support for education and community development in Brgy. Ramain.

5TH MECHANIZED INFANTRY BATTALION HOLDS FLAG RAISING CEREMONY AND DONNING OF RANK

Salvador, Lanao del Norte – On 06 April 2026, the 5th Mechanized Infantry Battalion, Armor Division, Philippine Army, under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Francisco Butch B. Canzado, Commanding Officer, conducted a Flag Raising Ceremony and a Donning of Rank ceremony for newly promoted 1st Lieutenant Julius N. Clar.

The ceremony was held at Camp Allere, Brgy. Inasagan, Salvador, Lanao del Norte, and was attended by officers and enlisted personnel of the unit. The donning of rank symbolizes the officer’s dedication, professionalism, and commitment to service, marking another milestone in his military career.

In his message, Lt. Col. Canzado congratulated 1st Lt. Clar on his well-deserved promotion and emphasized the greater responsibilities that come with his new rank. He also encouraged all personnel to remain steadfast in their duties and continue to uphold the core values of the Philippine Army.

The activity highlights the unit’s commitment to recognizing the achievements of its personnel while fostering esprit de corps and strengthening organizational morale.
