Municipal Mayor Manuel T. Saladaga has signed Executive Order No. 12, Series of 2026, dated March 18, 2026, creating the Fuel Retail Station Monitoring and Inspection Team and defining its structure, authority, and responsibilities.

The team is mandated to carry out regular inspections, ensure compliance with approved fuel prices, monitor inventory levels, and verify the accuracy of pump calibration. Any violations may result in the issuance of show cause orders or the immediate closure or sealing of fuel pumps.

For its first assignment, the team will conduct on-site inspections of major fuel retail stations to collect information on pricing and the current status of fuel supply, while awaiting further directives from the Department of Energy (DOE).

During these challenging times, the public is encouraged to help by conserving fuel and energy. Let us also continue to pray for world peace. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
