Do you have a passion for performing, creating, writing, dancing, singing, acting, or expressing yourself through the arts? The Special Program in the Arts (SPA) of Mahaplag National High School is officially opening its doors for aspiring SPA learners for S.Y. 2026–2027!

📌 SCREENING & AUDITION PERIOD
🗓 April 27 – June 5, 2026
🕗 Morning Session: 8:00–11:30 A.M.
🕐 Afternoon Session: 1:15–4:00 P.M.

📋 REQUIREMENTS:
✔️ Accomplished Enrollment Form
✔️ Numeracy Test and PHIL-IRI (Filipino & English)
✔️ PSA/Certificate of Live Birth (Photocopy)
✔️ School Form 9 (Report Card)
✔️ Good Moral Certificate
✔️ 40-Item Written Examination
✏️ Applicants are advised to bring paper and pen.

🎨 SPECIALIZATION REQUIREMENTS:

💃 Dance-Arts
Present any dance genre that best showcases your talent and performance skills.

🖌 Visual-Arts
Bring sample works such as drawings, paintings, sketches, and other artworks.
For the on-the-spot activity, bring available art materials like pencils, brushes, and sketch pads.

📸 Media-Arts
Present photographs or edited videos personally created by the learner.
Applicants are encouraged to bring smartphones or DSLR cameras for the on-the-spot activity.

🎼 Music-Arts
🎤 Vocal – Song rendition (a capella or with accompaniment)
🎹 Instrumental – Instrument performance using your chosen instrument

🎭 Theater-Arts
Drama performance (with or without script)

The Department of Education is now opening opportunities for the engagement of external tutors for the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Summer Program.

Interested applicants are advised to review DM 001, s. 2026 – Guidelines on the Engagement of Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning Program Tutors and Support Aides through the following link:

🗓️ Implementation Period: May 6 to June 2

• Friday – Home-based learning

🚸 Target Learners:
• ARAL Summer – Reading: Incoming Grade 2 to Grade 11 learners

📊 Basis for Learner Selection:
Participants shall be identified based on the End-of-School-Year (EOSY) assessment results, particularly those classified under:
• Frustration (PHIL-IRI)

📚 Instructional Support:
Teaching and learning materials will be provided, including home-based learning resources, which are currently in the final stages of development.

All interested applicants are encouraged to coordinate with their respective schools or offices for further information regarding the application and engagement process.
