Third Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) at Carlos F. Gonzales High School on September 15, 2025.
This preparedness activity was successfully carried out for both morning and afternoon students under the leadership of the School Emergency Response Team (SERT). At the sound of the drill signal, students and teachers immediately performed duck, cover, and hold.
Afterwards, they lined up in an orderly and disciplined manner towards the designated evacuation area, guided by their teachers and assisted by SERT. The organized and safe evacuation served as proof of the schoolβs readiness in responding to possible disasters.
The NSED highlights the great importance of preparedness and cooperation during times of calamity. Through such drills, everyone is taught to be alert, responsible, and readyβnot only for their own safety but also for the welfare of the whole community.
