Strengthening Museum Practice Through Continuous Learning

The Office of Library Services and Museum (OLM) proudly recognizes the participation of Architect Alejandro Balutan II, Senior Museum Researcher, in the Basic Museology Training Program organized by the National Museum of the Philippines under the Immersion for Inspiration 2026 program.

Held on October 5–8, 12–15, and 19–23, 2026, at the National Museum of Fine Arts, the training provided valuable opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in museology, museum practices, and cultural heritage preservation.

This professional development initiative reflects OLM’s commitment to continuous learning and strengthening museum services for the PSAU community.

An award-winning student filmmaker, photographer, and campus journalist whose documentaries and creative works have earned recognition in various film festivals and competitions.

MR. SAMUEL ELIEZER A. AYSON
A Development Communication graduate with expertise in photography, video editing, film directing, and creative direction. He also directed and edited the OLM promotional video.

MS. GIZELLE DR. DELA CRUZ-ARCEO
A College Librarian at PSAU with extensive knowledge of OLM’s services, policies, programs, and activities, bringing valuable insight and a deep understanding of the institution to the judging panel.

In celebration of National Book Week 2026, the Office of Library Services and Museum (OLM) of Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) invites all officially enrolled PSAU students to participate in the OLM Promotional Video Contest!

Showcase your creativity and storytelling skills by producing an original, engaging, and informative promotional video highlighting the OLM’s services, resources, facilities, and programs. Inspire fellow students to explore the library, discover its wealth of knowledge, and make meaningful use of the services it offers.

OFFICIAL ENTRY SUBMISSION
- Submit your official entry by sending a message to the PSAU Office of Library Services and Museum (OLM) page or by coordinating with Ms. Sharmane B. Rellama.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
- The decision of the Board of Judges shall be final and binding, subject to the announced contest rules and guidelines.
- Entries containing offensive, discriminatory, misleading, or unauthorized content may be disqualified.
- Participants must secure the necessary permissions and consent from identifiable individuals appearing in their videos.
- The organizers reserve the right to reject or disqualify entries that fail to comply with the contest requirements, rules, and guidelines.
- By participating, contestants grant the organizers permission to use their entries for noncommercial library promotional purposes, subject to applicable consent requirements and institutional policies.

The Office of Library Services and Museum, in collaboration with the Book Club Organization, successfully held the OLM–Book Club Film Viewing Session on October 15, 2026, at the Main Library AVR.

The session featured Leslie, Germie, Benjie, Trixie (2025), Gitling (2023), and selected documentaries by Development Communication (DevCom) students—showcasing creativity, storytelling, and the diverse perspectives of PSAU student filmmakers.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in watching, reflecting, and connecting through meaningful stories.
