NOTICE FOR THE APPLICATION OF SK SECRETARY & TREASURER!
Qualifications:
*Citizen of the Philippines;
*A qualified voter of the Katipunan ng Kabataan;
*A resident of the barangay for not less than one (1) year immediately preceding the day of the elections;
*Must be at least eighteen (18) years not more than thirty (30) years of age on the day of the appointment;
*Able to read and write Filipino, English, or the local dialect;
*Must not be within the second civil degree of consanguinity or affinity to any incumbent elected national official or to any incumbent elected regional, provincial, city, municipal, or barangay official, in the locality where he/she seeks to be appointed; and
*Must not have been convicted by final judgement of any crime involving moral turpitude.
In addition to the above qualifications, the SK TREASURER, must:
*Have an educational background relating to business administration, accountancy, finance, economics, or bookkeeping.
Note on the process of appointment:
* The SK Secretary and SK Treasure shall be coterminous with the appointing authority unless sooner removed for cause.
* The SK Secretary and SK Treasurer who, during their term of office, shall be passed the age of thirty (30) shall be allowed to serve the remaining portion of their term for which they were appointed, unless sooner removed for cause.
* The appointed SK Secretary and SK Treasurer must undergo the mandatory training program before they can assume office.
* The SK Treasurer shall undergo a mandatory bookkeeping training form and be duly certified by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) before assumption to office.
