“JOLINA” HAS MADE LANDFALL OVER DIMASALANG, MASBATE AND IS NOW TRAVERSING OVER MAINLAND MASBATE.

• Location of Center (10:00 AM)
The center of the eye of Typhoon “JOLINA” was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of Dimasalang, Masbate (12.1°N, 123.8°E)

• Intensity
Maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 150 km/h, and central pressure of 990 hPa

• Present Movement
West Northwestward at 15 km/h

• Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds
Strong winds or higher extend outwards up to 180 km from the center

READ I As of 1 September 2021, a total of 564, 247 individuals in the Cagayan Valley Region were given first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

On the other hand, a total of 564,247 were given complete dose.

Also, the NVOC reported that a total of 1,133,800 vaccines composed of Sinovac (703,160), AstraZeneca (214,300), Gamaleya (13,200), Pfizer (26,910), Moderna (57,080) and Janssen (119,150) were already delivered to the region as of September 1.
