IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO LANDSLIDE INCIDENT
Brgy. Sugod, Madalum, Lanao del Sur

At around 9:58 PM, a landslide occurred in Barangay Sugod, Madalum, Lanao del Sur. The MDRRMO Madalum responded immediately, led by Rennon Hosni B. Oma together with his staff.

Also present to assist were former Mayor Usman M. Sarangani, Jr., the BLGU of Sugod headed by Almirah M. Camid, BFP Madalum, and MPS Madalum. They worked together to ensure the safety of all residents and clear the path to allow stranded vehicles to pass through.

🌱 Tree Planting Activity in Celebration of National Environmental Awareness Month 🌱

As part of the celebration of National Environmental Awareness Month, the Local Government Unit successfully conducted a Tree Planting Activity to strengthen environmental conservation efforts and promote the importance of protecting and preserving our natural resources.

This meaningful activity was spearheaded by Municipal Mayor Hon. Fathma Hazrat O. Sarangani, together with Municipal Administrator Usman T. Sarangani, Sr., Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer (MENRO) Norma S. Pandapatan, and the Sangguniang Bayan, headed by Hon. Omeraidah M. Mindalano.

Also lending their invaluable support were MDRRMO Head Rennon Hosni B. Oma, ABC President Jassma M. Tantao and the Barangay Local Government Units (BLGUs), along with partner national government agencies including the Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Rural Health Unit (RHU), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG).

The activity served as a reminder that environmental protection is a shared responsibility. Every tree planted today represents hope for cleaner air, healthier ecosystems, and a more sustainable future for our community. Through unity, cooperation, and collective action, we continue to demonstrate our commitment to safeguarding the environment and mitigating the impacts of climate change.

Our sincere appreciation goes to all participating offices, agencies, volunteers, and community members whose dedication and teamwork made this activity a success. May this initiative inspire everyone to continue taking meaningful actions that contribute to the preservation of our environment.

📢 NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

The Municipal Government of Madalum, through its Office of the Municipal Assessor, informs all concerned constituents of the 2026 Proposed Schedule of Market Values (SMV) for real property assessment and classification in the Province of Lanao del Sur.

This is being prepared in accordance with the Philippine Valuation Standards (PVS), Republic Act No. 7160 (Local Government Code of 1991), Republic Act No. 12001 (Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act), and relevant issuances of the Department of Finance (DOF) through the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF).

The corresponding pages of the proposed document are attached herewith for your information and guidance.

Public consultations and related activities will be announced through this official municipal page. All concerned are encouraged to review the proposed SMV and take part in the succeeding proceedings.

Last Day of Our 3-Day Ramadhan Night Program 🌙

Alhamdulillah! The final night of our 3-Day Ramadhan Night Program was successfully concluded through the leadership of our dedicated Mayor Fathma Hazrat O. Sarangani-Azis, together with former Vice Mayor Usman T. Sarangani, Sr., Councilor Alladin E. Pandapatan & ABC President Jassma M. Tantao, and the Ulama Council of Madalum.

The program ended with a meaningful Awarding Ceremony, exciting raffle draws, and a special highlight — the Second Raffle: Trip to Hajj. We congratulate Asliya Cosain from Brgy. Linuk for being the blessed winner of the second Trip to Hajj 2027 🕋

Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this beautiful gathering of faith, unity, and community during this blessed month of Ramadan. May Allah continue to bless us all. 🤍🌙
