𝗣𝗵𝗽𝟱𝟬𝟬𝗞 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗺𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆!

As PRO BAR continues to enforce customs and tariff administration laws against counterfeit and smuggled goods in the Bangsamoro region, elements of RDEU-RSOG/CTU PRO BAR, in collaboration with CCPO PS-3, validated the reported transportation of smuggled ci******es, confiscating a total of seventeen (17) boxes of smuggled ci******es worth Php 500,000.00 in an Anti-smuggling operation beside Riverrun, Purok Palayan, Barangay Tamontaka 1, Cotabato City on December 7, 2023.

Accordingly, an information was received stating that there are allegedly smuggled boxes of ci******es being transported in the aforementioned place. Operating units responded and arrived at the scene, where they discovered multiple boxes wrapped in black garbage bags.
Upon closer inspection, they discovered that the boxes contained seventeen (17) different brands of ci******es totaling an estimated Php 500,000.00, which had already been abandoned by the unidentified suspects.

The confiscated contrabands were inventoried and certified before being properly turned over to the Bureau of Customs for proper disposition.

PBGEN ALLAN C NOBLEZA, Regional Director, warned illegal traders that if they were caught, they would face charges for violating RA 10863 (an Act Modernizing The Customs and Tariff Administration) and the National Internal Revenue Code and urged the public to refrain from buying these contrabands as it could jeopardize the nation's progress.

Top 10 Most Wanted Person (Regional Level) was successfully arrested by joint personnel of CDEU MCPS (Lead Unit), PSOG LDSPPO, 1st PMFC LDSPPO, 1403rd RMFC, RIU15, PIT LDS, TUBARAN MPS, PSOG,13SAC/ISAB, SAF, CIDG PFU LDS, and DI MAPIO.

Around 3:00 PM on November 22, 2023, the operating units successfully served the warrant of arrest at Brgy. Navaro (Datu Saber), Marawi, Lanao Del Sur for violation of RPC, Art. 248 (MURDER) issued by the Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 8, Marawi City, LDS on the 27th day of May 2022 with no recommended bail.
