The Department of Trade and Industry - Batangas Consumer Protection Division is conducting a survey to gather information from businesses and consumers regarding the fire extinguishers they are currently using.

This initiative aims to help us determine whether the fire extinguishers in the market- and those being used by establishments - carry the required Philippine Standard (PS) License. Ensuring that your fire extinguisher is certified, compliant, and safe is a crucial step in protecting lives and property.

Why this matters:
✔ PS-certified fire extinguishers meet safety and performance standards
✔ Certified products help ensure proper function during emergencies
✔ Consumers and MSMEs deserve protection from substandard and unsafe products

As part of our advocacy this Fire Prevention Month, we encourage everyone to participate in this short survey. Your responses will help DTI strengthen market monitoring and consumer protection efforts.

TINGNI: Nagsagawa ng seminar ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Batangas para sa mga micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), gayundin sa mga aspiring at startup entrepreneurs sa lalawigan ngayong araw, March 17.

Ito ay ang “ALA E! Smart Money Moves: Managing Business Finance Effectively,” na layuning palakasin ang kakayahan ng mga negosyante sa wastong pamamahala ng pananalapi sa negosyo.

Ayon kay Senior Trade and Industry Development Specialist Pathy Joy Furto, bahagi ng mandato ng DTI ang patuloy na pagsuporta sa maliliit na negosyo upang makapagpatuloy at umunlad sa kabila ng iba’t ibang hamon.

Tinalakay sa seminar ang maayos na pagba-budget, tamang pagmomonitor ng kita at gastusin, at matalinong pagdedesisyon sa pananalapi upang mapanatili at mapalago ang mga negosyo.

Ang naturang aktibidad ay bahagi ng patuloy na programa ng DTI para sa pagpapaunlad ng sektor ng MSMEs na itinuturing na mahalagang haligi ng ekonomiya ng bansa. (PIO Batangas City)
