Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 133, government offices shall implement appropriate alternative work arrangements, while alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented for classes at all levels in public and private schools on September 01, 2026, in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat):

Mabalacat City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) successfully conducted Basic Life Support and Standard First Aid (BLS-SFA) Training for the students and faculty members Don Bosco Academy of Pampanga Inc.

With all appreciation, we recognize the Bosconians for their eagerness to learn, active participation, and outstanding cooperation throughout the training.

Successful Retrieval Operation of a missing drowned victim.

At around 0800H of August 15, 2026, our Mabalacat CDRRMO Water Search and Rescue Team continued their retrieval operation to a reported drowning incident yesterday at Sitio Dungan, Tabun Riverside, Mabalacat City.

Through the joint efforts of Mabalacat CDRRMO and Bamban MDRRMO, the body of a 13 y.o, male victim was successfully retrieved at 0930H in Barangay Lourdes, Bamban riverside and immediately transported to Mabalacat District Hospital.

The Mabalacat City headed by Mayor Gerald Guttrie P. Aquino together with Mabalacat City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office extends our deepest condolences to the bereaved family.

We remind everyone to be extra cautious especially swimming in rivers, waterway and streams.

We commend the bravery and decisiveness of our WASAR Team in pushing through the rescue operation despite the challenges and strong water current.
