Typhoon (JANGMI)

“DOMENG” EXITED THE PHILIPPINE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Location of Center (4:00 PM)
The center of the eye of Typhoon DOMENG was estimated based on all available data at 795 km Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (OUTSIDE PAR)
• Intensity
Maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 150 km/h, and central pressure of 975 hPa
• Present Movement
Northward at 15 km/h
• Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds
Strong to typhoon-force winds extend outwards up to 500 km from the center

➣ Heavy Rainfall Outlook
Refer to Weather Advisory No. 11 issued at 5:00 PM today for the heavy rainfall outlook due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon.
➣ Severe Winds
The enhancement of the Southwest Monsoon will bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds):
• Today: Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Panay Island, and Negros Occidental.
• Tomorrow (02 June): Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Central Luzon, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur.
• Wednesday (03 June): Ilocos Region, Benguet, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Central Luzon, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Aklan, and Capiz.
HAZARDS AFFECTING COASTAL WATERS
➣ 24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook
Up to rough seas over the following coastal waters:
• Up to 3.0 m: The northern seaboard of Batanes.
• Mariners of small seacrafts, including all types of motorbancas, are advised not to venture out to sea under these conditions, especially if inexperienced of operating ill-equipped vessels.
Up to moderate seas over the following coastal waters:
• Up to 2.5 m: The seaboards of Isabela and Kalayaan Islands; the remaining seaboard of Batanes; the northern and eastern seaboards of Babuyan Islands; the northeastern seaboard of Aurora; the eastern seaboard of mainland Cagayan.
• Up to 2.0 m: The northern seaboards of Ilocos Norte, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur; the northern and eastern seaboards of Polillo Islands, Catanduanes, and Northern Samar; the eastern seaboards of Sorsogon and Eastern Samar.
• Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions.
Other coastal waters have forecast wave heights of less than 2.0 m.
TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK
• It must be emphasized that heavy rainfall and severe winds may still be experienced in localities outside the forecast confidence cone. Refer to “Other Hazards affecting Land Areas” for more details. Furthermore, the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone.
• DOMENG will continue to move north northeastward towards southern Japan.
• A steady weakening trend is expected for DOMENG as it moves towards an increasingly less favorable environmental condition.
Considering these developments, the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take all necessary measures to protect life and property. Persons living in areas identified to be highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards are advised to follow evacuation and other instructions from local officials. For heavy rainfall warnings, thunderstorm/rainfall advisories, and other severe weather information specific to your area, please monitor products issued by your local PAGASA Regional Services Division.

Mabalacat CDRRMO SRR Team deployed to Balibago, Angeles City 🚨🫡

The Mabalacat CDRRMO Search, Rescue, and Retrieval (SRR) Team was deployed to respond to the incident involving the collapsed 9-storey building in Balibago, Angeles City, on May 29, 2026.

Responders deployed:

Arjay Tolentino

The team is currently coordinating with the concerned agencies and continuously conducting rescue and response operations to ensure the safety of all affected individuals.

We are united with the community in hoping for the safety, strength, and recovery of everyone affected by this unfortunate incident. May we continue to remain calm, vigilant, and cooperative as emergency operations are ongoing.

Let us all include the victims, responders, and their families in our prayers. Together, with unity and hope, we can overcome this difficult situation.
