AFRC recognizes Junior Officer with outstanding achievements during the conduct of the Basic Air Force Officer course CL-2026 Bravo.

The Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) congratulates 2LT Maricar C Callos PAF after achieving the highest overall weighted average across all academic activities, writing exercises, and receiving other notable awards during the conduct of the Basic Air Force Officer Course (BAFOC) Class 2026B at the Philippine Air Force Officer School, Fernando Air Base in Lipa City.

Her outstanding performance placed her number 1 out of 86 students in the BAFOC program. This accomplishment highlights her dedication to excellence and her ability to thrive in challenging environments.

MGen Ronie D Petinglay PAF, Commander, AFRC visits the Philippine Air Force Reserve Training Center (PAFRTC).

On 06 May 2026, MGen Ronie D Petinglay PAF, Commander, Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), conducted his first official field visit to the Philippine Air Force Reserve Training Center (PAFRTC) at Clark Air Base, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

He was warmly welcomed by PAFRTC personnel led by LTC Sherwin A Montejo PAF (GSC), Commanding Officer, along with the PAFRTC staff.

During the visit, MGen Petinglay addressed his concerns regarding vehicle issues and discussed the operational and logistical needs of the PAFRTC. This was followed by an open forum with the personnel, providing a platform for dialogue, feedback, and the exchange of ideas aimed at strengthening unit performance.

The Commander also inspected the center’s facilities and assessed its operational readiness, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standards in both administrative and operational functions. The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen rapport between AFRC leadership and reserve personnel, reinforcing a culture of professionalism, commitment, and dedicated service.

The unit displayed exceptional discipline, unity, and coordination, maintaining a well-organized formation that exemplified the professionalism of Philippine Air Force Reservists. Their presence underscored an unwavering commitment to service—not only in safeguarding the nation but also in strengthening community ties.

The activity served as a valuable platform to enhance public engagement, foster patriotism, and reaffirm the vital role of reservists in building strong and resilient communities.

AFRC Conducts First Monday Flag Raising and Awarding Ceremony for May.

As the month of May begins, the Ultimate Warriors gathered as one team and one family to demonstrate their patriotism and dedication to duty during the traditional first Monday flag raising ceremony held on 04 May 2026 at Clark Air Base, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

The flag raising ceremony was led by MGen Ronie D. Petinglay PAF, Commander of AFRC, along with other units from the Air Force City. The ceremony also included an awarding segment, recognizing Military personnel who exhibited outstanding performance and dedication in their respective roles.

Following the awarding ceremony, the message of LtGen Arthur M. Cordura PAF, Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, was delivered by MGen Petinglay. In his message, LtGen Cordura highlighted the importance of discipline, unity, and mission readiness as the PAF continues to address evolving operational challenges. He noted that the beginning of a new month provides an opportunity to reassess priorities, strengthen teamwork, and maintain momentum in delivering credible air power in support of national defense and development.

As the Philippine Air Force moves forward this month of May, its leadership reaffirmed the commitment to professionalism and operational excellence, ensuring that the organization remains capable, responsive, and steadfast in serving the Filipino people.
