Chanukah - is observed for eight nights and days starting on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew Calendar (Dec. 2nd - 10th this year). The festival is done by lighting candles of a menorah (candelabrum with nine branches). Each night, one additional candle is lit until all eight candles are lit together on the final night of the festival.

Last night marked the second night of the eight-day holiday. Jewish people around the world celebrate to commemorate miracles of G-d for over 2000 years ago.
