LOOK: In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PMAJ ARNULFO L JACABAN JR, Officer-in-Charge, RECU 7, personnel from the Provincial EOD and Canine Unit (PECU) Bohol received a turned-over military ordnance.

The military ordnance was voluntarily surrendered by a local resident of Brgy. Bonbon, Calape, Bohol. The item was subsequently turned over by personnel of the Calape Police Station, Bohol PPO. Following an assessment, the ordnance was secured and is now under the custody of PECU Bohol for safekeeping prior to proper disposal.

This successful turnover underscores our strengthened operational readiness and reflects our unwavering commitment to community safety by ensuring hazardous materials are managed with professional precision.

LOOK: In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Community Support, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PMAJ ALEJANDRO L PARTA, JR, Officer-In-Charge, RECU-NCR, personnel of the Station EOD and Canine Unit (SECU)-Parañaque conducted a lecture on Project A.B.K.D. (Awareness of Bombs that Kill lives and Destroy properties) to 45 participants from the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) on June 29, 2026, at Brgy. Tambo, Parañaque City.

This initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to community safety. By promoting awareness of the perils posed by IEDs and bombs and actively fostering a culture of safety within the public, we ensure a more vigilant, prepared, and secure environment for all.

LOOK: In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Community Support, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PMAJ JOSEPH P ESCURO, Officer-in-charge, AVSECU, personnel of the Aviation Security EOD and Canine Unit (AVSECU) 4 Lio Airport conducted a lecture on Project A.B.K.D. (Awareness of Bombs that Kill lives and Destroy properties) to 16 participants from the Lio Tricycle Drivers Operators Transport Cooperative on June 28, 2026, at Ayala Compound, Lio, Brgy. Villa Libertad, El Nido, Palawan.

This initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to community safety. By promoting awareness of the perils posed by IEDs and bombs and actively fostering a culture of safety within the public, we ensure a more vigilant, prepared, and secure environment for all.

LOOK: In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PCOL EDWARD D QUIJANO, Chief, EODOD, the duty Explosive Incident Response Team (EIRT) conducted paneling operations at the PNP Transformation Oval, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City.

These preventive measures are vital in preempting any potential threats. Through routine intrusive paneling operations, the Group remains committed to ensuring safety and providing a secure environment for this ongoing initiative.

LOOK: In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Community Support, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PMAJ JAYSON V MACADANGDANG, Officer-in-Charge, RECU 12, personnel of the Regional EOD and Canine Unit (RECU) 12 conducted distribution of IEC materials within the AOR to deter any possible acts of unlawful interference that may threaten the populace and guarantee the absolute safety of the general public.

This activity aims to strengthen community vigilance and ensure public safety through proactive information dissemination.

LOOK: In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PLTCOL VERGEL DV UNTALAN, Officer-In-Charge, RECU 3, personnel of the Olongapo City EOD and Canine Unit (CECU) successfully responded to a request for EOD assistance regarding an unexploded explosive ordnance (UXO) discovered at Barangay New Cabalan, Olongapo City.

Upon coordinating with local police, the responding team learned that a resident found a hazardous metal object on his canopy and moved it to the ground. An EOD Technician assessed the corroded item and successfully applied a Render Safe Procedure (RSP) using a sand stabilizer. Due to its significant casualty radius, the hazard was safely secured and transported to a temporary storage facility for proper disposition without incident.

This successful recovery underscores our strengthened operational readiness. It reflects our commitment to community safety by ensuring that hazardous materials are managed with professional precision and unwavering dedication.
