Five Saturdays down, one more to go! 🩵

Yesterday, we successfully completed the 5th Saturday of the CSO Academy, where we tackled three major modules under Financial System and Management for Civil Society Organizations.

Hindi lang kami nakinig at nag-aral ng mga konsepto we were also challenged to put our learning into action. Through our group activity, we were able to create and plan a project aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 🌏

This experience reminded me that meaningful public service requires more than good intentions. Kailangan ng tamang kaalaman, maayos na pagpaplano, responsible use of resources, at higit sa lahat, commitment to create meaningful impact.

This was also our last Saturday training at Bulacan State University. Five Saturdays of learning, sharing, and growing together, and now, one final Saturday to go at Bataan Peninsula State University as we complete this meaningful journey.

Habang papalapit tayo sa pagtatapos, mas lalo kong nauunawaan na the more we learn, the greater our responsibility to serve better.

Yesterday marked the 4th Saturday of our CSO Academy, where we tackled the LGU Budgeting and Procurement Process. Another meaningful learning experience that deepened my understanding of how government projects and services are planned, funded, and implemented.

Mas lalo kong na-realize na mahalaga ang tamang budgeting at transparent na procurement upang masigurong ang pondo ng bayan ay napupunta sa mga programang tunay na makikinabang ang mamamayan.

Patuloy tayong matuto at makibahagi sa mga gawaing magpapalakas ng mabuting pamamahala at mas maayos na komunidad.

Patuloy tayong maninindigan at ipaglalaban ang Good governance sa ano mang antas ng pamahalaan, dahil naniniwala tayo sa kakayahan ng ating komunidad.

Another meaningful Saturday well spent! 🇵🇭✨

We successfully completed the 3rd Week of the Regional CSO Academy, where we learned about the Annual Investment Plan (AIP) and the LGU budgeting process. Through a budget proposal workshop following the DBM guidelines, we gained firsthand experience on how public funds are planned and allocated to serve our communities.

Isa ito sa mga dahilan kung bakit ako sumali sa CSO Academy, to better understand how our local government works, especially at the barangay level, and to equip myself with the knowledge needed to become a more effective community leader.

Naniniwala akong ang tunay na paglilingkod ay nagsisimula sa tamang kaalaman. Every lesson brings me one step closer to becoming a better advocate for good governance and meaningful public service.

Week 2 out of 6 of the CSO Academy is officially done! 💙

Marami kaming natutunan this week about CLUP (Comprehensive Land Use Plan) and CDP (Comprehensive Development Plan) mga mahalagang gabay sa pagpaplano at pagpapaunlad ng ating mga komunidad.

We were also honored to receive a leadership training from Bulacan State University President Dr. Teody, who earned doctorate degrees from Wharton School in Pennsylvania and Thames International University. His inspiring insights and leadership made the session even more meaningful. Tunay na isang araw na puno ng learnings, leadership, at inspiration.

Proud kaming maging kinatawan ng Mabalacat City Government through JCI Mabalacat Malasa as we continue to grow and serve our community with purpose.

Making history through service. 🇵🇭

Isang malaking karangalan ang maging bahagi ng kauna-unahang Regional CSO Academy sa buong Pilipinas, isang makasaysayang inisyatiba ng DILG at DBM na naglalayong palakasin ang ugnayan ng Civil Society Organizations at ng pamahalaan para sa mas mahusay na leadership, accountability, at good governance.

With pride and humility, I am honored to represent JCI Mabalacat Malasa and the Mabalacat City Government in this historic program. Day 1 pa lamang ng aming 6-Saturday Academy, marami na kaming natutunan tungkol sa citizen participation, checks and balances, at kung paano mas mapapalakas ang pakikipagtulungan ng pamahalaan at ng civil society para sa ikabubuti ng ating mga komunidad.

Kasama ko rin sa makabuluhang learning journey na ito sina BJC Jezzle Custodio at AC Arcilla. Excited akong dalhin ang mga aral na ito pabalik sa Mabalacat at patuloy na maglingkod nang may integridad at malasakit.

Noong June 20,2026, Hindi man kayo ang nasa entablado, ngunit kayo ang tunay na dahilan kung bakit naging matagumpay at makulay ang Queen of Dau 2026.

Sa bawat oras ng paghahanda, puyat, pagod, at sakripisyo, ipinakita ninyo na kapag may pagmamahal sa komunidad at malasakit sa kapwa, walang imposible. Ang tagumpay ng event na ito ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa ganda ng programa, kundi sa puso at dedikasyong ibinigay ninyo upang mabigyan ng saya, inspirasyon, at pagkakaisa ang buong Barangay Dau.

Noong nakaraang June 20, 2026, sa halip na isang simpleng birthday celebration, pinili kong ipagdiwang ito sa mas makabuluhang paraan kasama ang buong Barangay Dau, sa diwa ng Pride at pagkakaisa. 🌈

Sa tulong ng aking mga minamahal na kaibigan, naisakatuparan natin ang Queen of Dau, isang Miss Gay event na hindi lamang nagbigay saya, kundi nagbigay inspirasyon sa ating komunidad.

Hindi naging madali ang lahat mula sa paghahanap ng sponsors, sa pagod at sakripisyo ng bawat isa, ngunit dahil sa malasakit at kabutihang-loob ng ating mga donors at supporters, matagumpay nating nairaos ang programang ito.

Sa bawat hakbang ng prosesong ito, pinatunayan natin ang tunay na diwa ng GOODING ang pagsasabuhay ng kabutihan sa bawat kilos, desisyon, at paglilingkod sa kapwa.
