The Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation of Mโlang held a benchmarking activity in the City of Love, Iloilo City, and in the Municipality of Santa Barbara, Iloilo. The activity focused on SK initiatives and Gender and Development (GAD) best practices, serving as a great way to share ideas and strengthen youth leadership, inclusivity, and gender-responsive programs.
Joining the activity were our youthful councilors, Hon. Clint Ed Abasques and Hon. Kenneth Karl Peroy, together with our DILG Officer, Sir Vince Kim Rojas, MBA, and the DILG staff. Also with us were our Municipal Accountant and GAD Focal Person, Sir Noel Buenafe, CPA, the GAD Secretariat, and our Local Youth Development Officer.
We sincerely thank the City Government of Iloilo through SK City Federation President Hon. Jelma Crystel Implica, and the LGU of Santa Barbara headed by Mayor Hon. Dennis S. Superficial with SK Municipal President Nikka Joan Suganob, for their warm and hospitable welcome.
Special thanks also to our Municipal Mayor Emmanuel โDoc Awingโ Abonado for his strong support, as well as to our Vice Mayor Giovani Tajada and the Sangguniang Bayan members for their encouragement.
This activity became a meaningful opportunity for growth, empowerment, and better service for the youth of M'lang
