MNHS Book Lovers Club Kicks Off the School Year with New Leadership! ✨📚

On August 7, 2026 the MNHS Book Lovers Club successfully held its Election of Officers and Presentation of the Club Moderator

The event also featured the formal presentation of the club moderator Mr. Gerald Guing-Guing Teacher I and Ms. Jessa Mae Posadas, Library Staff , who inspired the newly elected officers and members to lead with integrity, teamwork, and a genuine love for books.

The set of Officers is led by Ms. Ylaija Kristy A. Magsayo Grade 10 students, Princess Dianne P. Canuday as Vice President, Secretary Euneilah Soffiya T. Guyo, Treasurer Marl Marih C. Medialuna, Auditor Princess Shairah M. Oselleva and PIO Ella Gazelle Yvrelle M. Gementiza.

Congratulations to our newly elected officers! Your willingness to serve reflects your commitment to making the Book Lovers Club a vibrant community where reading, learning, and leadership thrive.

As we begin this new chapter, may we continue to inspire one another, turn pages into possibilities, and foster a culture where every book opens a new world of knowledge and imagination.

We’re beyond excited to officially present the 92nd National Book Week poster and this year’s theme: BASA, SALIN, DALOY. 📚✨

Tara na’t sabay-sabay tayong makiisa sa taunang selebrasyong ito at ipagdiwang ang kahalagahan ng pagbabasa, pagsasalin, at patuloy na pagdaloy ng kaalaman.

At ito pa lang ang simula! 👀 Mas mag-iingay pa tayo, so stay tuned sa mga exciting activities, contests, at iba pang ganap na inihanda para sa ating lahat.

Empowering Students Through Library Instruction!

The Mlang National High School Library successfully conducted its Library Instruction Program for Junior High School students specifically in Grade 7 Alcala, Almmeda,Campos,Del Mundo, kintanar and Flores, equipping them with the essential knowledge and skills to effectively utilize library resources and services.

The session introduced students to the library's facilities, collections, borrowing policies, online resources, and information literacy skills that will help them locate, evaluate, and use information responsibly for their academic success.

Through this program, the library continues to promote a culture of reading, research, and lifelong learning while empowering students to become independent and responsible users of information.

Thank you to the school administration, English teachers, and students for your active participation and support in making this program a success!

Preserving the past. Digitizing for the future. Expanding access to knowledge"

On July 23, 2026, the National Commission of Culture and Arts - National Committee on Library Services (NCCA–NCLIS), Cotabato Libraries and Information Network, Inc (COLINET), and the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Kundi E. Pahm Learning Resource Center (KEPLRC), USM for the project "Filipiniana Online: Digitization and Online Accessibility of Filipiniana Resources."

The partnership aims to preserve and digitize valuable Filipiniana collections, making them more accessible online for researchers, educators, students, and the public. Representatives from COLINET member institutions, including Mlang National High School, attended the event in support of this collaborative initiative to safeguard the nation's documentary heritage for future generations.
