LGU-Lupon, in coordination with Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU), announces important updates for the opening of the DOrSU–Lupon Campus this August 2026.

El Niño Alert issued ⚠️

DOST-PAGASA has officially raised its ENSO Alert and Warning System to El Niño Alert, following the high likelihood of its development in the coming months and possible persistence into early 2027. This may bring drier-than-usual conditions, including dry spells and droughts in parts of the country.

However, above-normal rainfall may still be experienced over the western sections during the Habagat season.

These events showcased the community’s rich culture, unity, and pride, making the celebration truly memorable and significant for all.

Barangay Poblacion Assembly Day ✨

Yesterday, March 23, 2026, Barangay Poblacion successfully held its 1st Semester Barangay Assembly, bringing together the community for a meaningful and informative gathering.

The program officially commenced with the State of the Barangay Address (SOBA) delivered by our Punong Barangay, Kap. Yvonne Lim-Alonzo, setting the tone for unity, transparency, and progress.

Our Municipal Mayor, Santos Q. Alonzo, Jr., highlighted key developments including the opening of the DorSu-Lupon Extension Campus and the launch of Bayan Med, marking another step forward for the municipality. This was followed by a heartfelt message from Municipal Vice Mayor Atty. Christian Lawrence Go, who expressed his sincere gratitude to everyone who attended and showed their support.

We also extend to our appreciation to MLGOO Muhammad Rizzah Abutazil for his encouraging words—reminding everyone that the Barangay is always open and ready to serve, and that no concern is too small to be heard. Special thanks as well to the LGU Heads of Offices for sharing valuable insights that empower and guide the community.

Ang mga naka-assign na personnel para sa Friday operations ay maaaring ma-access sa 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿, 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 para sa essential and frontline services.

𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗮:

Maaaring may 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 ang ilang tanggapan ng LGU depende sa uri ng kanilang serbisyo. Kaya para sa mas maayos, mas mabilis, at mas kumpletong transaksyon, hinihikayat ang publiko na, hangga’t maaari, 𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝘂𝘄𝗲𝗯𝗲𝘀.
