Barangay Bungro successfully conducted the IDADAIT program on June 27, 2026, led by Punong Barangay Arturo Nigos together with Barangay Officials, BHW, BNS, Tanods, and SK Officials. The activity began with registration, tarpaulin signing, and a pledge of commitment, followed by a flag raising ceremony and Zumba session to promote unity, health, and active community participation.

The program also included “taktak-taob” activities, distribution of IEC materials on drug awareness, and dredging/cleaning of canals. These efforts reflect the barangay’s continued commitment to promoting a drug-free community, environmental cleanliness, and public awareness through active cooperation among all sectors.:

We are truly grateful and lucky to receive this blessing! Ms. Josie Aguinas from Municipal Agriculture Fishery Council Mankayan Benguet generously donated fresh pechay and cabbage to our barangay. Through her good friendship with Mr. Orlando Cacdac from our barangay, this became possible. With the leadership of Punong Barangay Arturo Nigos and the help of our barangay officials, the vegetables were distributed to our constituents. Thank you for your kindness and generosity! 🙏🥬💚

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the generous sponsors, the siblings of Punong Barangay Arturo Nigos 💖 Because of your kindness and support, the children (ages 0–10) experienced so much joy and excitement during the egg hunting activity 🥚🎉 Their bright smiles, laughter, and eagerness made the whole event truly special and unforgettable 😄💫 After collecting their eggs, the kids also enjoyed delicious snacks 🍪🧃, adding even more happiness to their day. Even the parents were overjoyed to see their children experience this fun activity, as many of them never had the chance to do it themselves! 💕👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

This wonderful experience brought so much joy to our little ones, and we are truly grateful for making it possible 🫶💛 We are hoping and looking forward to this meaningful activity happening again next year, so more children and families can enjoy and create beautiful memories together 🌈🐥✨

Barangay Bungro Assembly - March 29, 2026

The Barangay Bungro Assembly meeting held on March 29, 2026, at 3:30 PM was a productive and insightful session. We were privileged to have PSSGT Daissy Rose Aragon from the Philippine National Police (PNP) as guest on message of support. PSSG DAISY ROSE T. ARAGON shared valuable information on how our community can support and protect r**e victims, stressing the importance of awareness, legal processes, and offering a safe space for survivors. Her discussion emphasized the need for us to work together as a community to ensure that victims are supported and justice is served.

The meeting also included a speech from our esteemed Punong Barangay Arturo B. Nigos who provided updates on ongoing projects and initiatives in the barangay, with a focus on strengthening safety and welfare programs. The assembly was graced by our hardworking Barangay Officials, SK Officials, Tanods, BHWs (Barangay Health Workers), and BNS , all of whom play a vital role in our community's well-being.

In an exciting announcement, we also introduced our new SK Chairperson Jedrick Lenartt F. Nigos , who is eager to lead and inspire the youth of our barangay towards positive growth and active involvement in community initiatives.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of today’s assembly. Together, we can continue to make Barangay Bungro a safer and stronger community for all.
