Today (September 6), the Southwest Monsoon or "habagat" will bring occasional rains over Zambales, Bataan, and Pangasinan while cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and the rest of Ilocos Region and Central Luzon. Batanes and Babuyan Islands will also experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the trough of Super Typhoon {Yagi} (formerly "Enteng"). The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies apart from afternoon or evening rainshowers or thunderstorms.

By tomorrow (September 7), Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Zambales, Bataan, and Pangasinan are expected to be mostly cloudy with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms. The rest of the archipelago will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chances of isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

By Sunday (September 8 ), the whole country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with localized rainshowers or thunderstorms.

by Monday until Wednesday (September 9-11), Ilocos Region, Zambales, and Bataan may expect mostly cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms due to "Habagat" driven by the weather disturbance or low pressure area (LPA) northeast of the country. The rest of the archipelago will be partly cloudy to cloudy with possibilities of localized rainshowers or thunderstorms.

by Thursday until Friday (September 12-13), as the mentioned weather disturbance may move generally westward and along Luzon Strait, another weather disturbance or LPA may approach the eastern boundary of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). The rainfall associated with the latter LPA and the southwest monsoon may shift southward bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Visayas and Mindanao. The rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with brief rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the early morning, afternoon or evening.

The updates on this outlook will be provided through the daily issuances of public weather forecasts and weather advisories if there are significant changes in the weather scenario.
