As part of the best practice and continuing efforts to promote awareness and protect Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) and their families from emerging scams, an Information Drive entitled “Breaking the Scam: Intensified Action Against Online Scams among PDLs and Their Relatives” was conducted, facilitated by JO1 Rosalie Daiz.

The program was conducted under the leadership of JSINSP ALLAIN M. ABASTILLAS, Acting Warden, focused on educating participants about the various forms of online scams commonly encountered through social media platforms, text messages, phone calls, and online transactions.

As part of the unit’s continuing efforts to equip Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) with practical skills and productive learning opportunities, a Skills Enhancement Training on Table Skirting was conducted under the leadership of Acting Warden JSINSP ALLAIN M. ABASTILLAS. The activity was facilitated by JO1 Nyleah Arenas.

The activity served not only as a venue for skills development but also as an avenue to enhance self-confidence, discipline, and productivity among the PDLs.

With the guidance of JSINSP ALLAIN M. ABASTILLAS, JO1 Sheriz Anne R. Tesalona, KKDK Facilitator conducted Module 6 of the Katatagan, Kalusugan at Damayan ng Komunidad (KKDK) Jail-Based Rehabilitation Program entitled “Pag-iwas sa Tukso sa Kapaligiran.” The activity was attended by ten (10) Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

The activity further highlighted the value of self-discipline, vigilance, and responsible choices in sustaining personal growth and rehabilitation. By strengthening resilience and promoting accountability, the module aimed to empower participants to continue their transformation and remain committed to a productive, law-abiding, and purpose-driven life.
