LCDC APPROVES 2026 SUPPLEMENTAL ANNUAL INVESTMENT PROGRAM
The Lucena City Development Council (LCDC) approved additional funding for key programs and services under the City’s 2026 Supplemental Annual Investment Program (AIP) during its 3rd council meeting today, September 1.
The allocation was formalized through Resolution No. 2026-02, with Mayor Mark Alcala, LCDC Chairperson, presiding over the meeting alongside Vice Chairperson Councilor Americo Lacerna.
Also present during the meeting were Julieta Aparicio, City Planning and Development Office Coordinator; Rosalina Castillo, City Budget Officer; Alyssa Mijares, DLL Acting College Administrator; Councilor Reil Briones, ABC President; and Jeffrey Jumarang, representing the Office of Congressman David Suarez.
Among the beneficiaries of the supplemental funding includes Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng Lucena (DLL), which will receive additional budget and resources to support the efficient and effective delivery of its social, economic, and educational services.
The City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) will receive additional funding for the implementation of its solid waste management program, including the acquisition of equipment and the provision of maintenance requirements for the daily operations of the City’s sanitary landfill and other related support services.
The supplemental allocation forms part of the city government’s continuing efforts to strengthen essential public services and sustain the implementation of its development programs and projects.
