18 May 2026 | The Provincial Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development (MSMED) Council of Quezon successfully convened its Second Quarter 2026 Meeting at the Right-Wing Conference Room, Capitol Building, Lucena City. Presiding over the comprehensive session was Provincial Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer, EnP. Emmanuel S. Querubin.
With a shared commitment to lowering barriers and expanding opportunities for local enterprises, the council tackled critical agenda items aimed at strengthening our economic baseline:
๐ Business Landscape Mapping: Reviewing the 2024โ2026 registered businesses data presented by the QABPLO to track growth trends and pinpoint emerging commercial hubs across the province.
๐ Workforce Upskilling: Collaborating with TESDA to review Enterprise-Based Education and Training programs, bridging the gap between industry needs and local labor skills.
๐ธ Capital and Credit Access: Partnering with the Small Business Corporation (SB Corp) to promote dedicated financing programs, ensuring our micro and small entrepreneurs can secure manageable capital to scale up operations.
Through targeted skills training, data-driven planning, and expanded financial access, Quezon Province remains steadfast in building an inclusive and business-ready environment for all! โจ
