𝗣𝗨𝗣 - 𝗟𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘇 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

DILG Quezon joined fellow stakeholders, partner agencies, academic leaders, and community partners during the PUP Lopez Campus Synergy Summit 2026, a collaborative gathering aimed at fostering meaningful engagement between the academe and various sectors. The summit highlighted the importance of character development among students, equipping them with the values, leadership skills, and sense of responsibility needed to become future nation-builders held last June 4, 2026 at Cinema 3, SM City Lucena.

The activity also underscored the value of strong partnerships in creating opportunities for student growth through internship programs, experiential learning, and community engagement initiatives.

Through continued collaboration among government agencies, educational institutions, and private sector partners, we reaffirm our shared commitment to empowering the youth and preparing them for successful and impactful careers.

The DILG Quezon facilitated the conduct of the 2026 Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Team (PIMT) Table Validation held on June 4 at the QPGOEMPC Building, Quezon Capitol Compound, Lucena City.

The activity serves as a crucial step in assessing and streamlining the province's initiatives, policies, and response mechanisms to protect vulnerable sectors and eliminate violence.

The validation was actively participated in by dedicated representatives from various PIMT member agencies and civil society organizations:

• PGAD (Provincial Gender and Development Office)
• PSWDO (Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office)
• PHO (Provincial Health Office)
• QPPO-WCPD (Quezon Provincial Police Office - Women and Children Protection Desk)
• PACSEDU (Provincial Assistance for Community & Sectoral Empowerment & Development Unit)
• CSO Representatives from the ReINa Federation of Parents Association and Concepcion OFW Association.

Through collaborative efforts and rigorous evaluation, Quezon Province remains steadfast in its commitment to creating a safer, more secure, and protective environment for every woman and child.

The DILG Quezon spearheaded the 2nd Quarter PMCC Meeting together with the member agencies in ensuring its alignment and coordination of the policies, programs, and operational activities with the provincial government as well as with their respective counterparts in the city/municipalities in the province.

Quezon PMCC drives seamless collaboration in preparation for the upcoming Provincial Peace and Order Council Meeting, ensuring optimization of governance, maintaining peace and order, and advancing sustainable community welfare.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) - Quezon Province spearheaded and successfully conducted the 2025 Peace and Order Council (POC) Performance Audit - Table Assessment.

To ensure a comprehensive and collaborative evaluation, the provincial assessment team was composed of key representatives from across the peace and order and public safety sector:

-Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO)
-Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) - Quezon
-Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) - Quezon
-Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) - Quezon
-Kilos Unlad ng Mamamayan ng Real (KUMARE), Inc. (Civil Society Organization Representative)

This audit evaluates the overall functionality and performance of Forty (1 City and 39 Municipal) Local Peace and Order Councils (POCs) across Quezon Province to ensure that grassroots strategies for maintaining peace, order, and public safety strictly align with national laws and regulations.

This collaborative effort guarantees that every LGU effectively delivers on its vital mandate: safeguarding and maintaining a peaceful, orderly, safe, and secure communities in Quezon Province.
