🎄 Gift-Giving & Thanksgiving Activity 🎁
Last December 20, 2025, the Philippines of Christ Organization held a meaningful Gift-Giving activity at Lucena East 7 Elementary School – Annex, bringing joy to children from three different schools. Food packs, toys, and cash were shared to spread happiness this Christmas season.

This activity also served as a reminder that we celebrate Christmas because of the birthday of Jesus Christ, our Savior. ❤️✨

With heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Girlie Yasis for her helping hands in making this event possible.
To God be all the glory! 🙏

"When the dazzling voices of Batang Annex became gifts"

The Himig Bulilit 2025 was more than a singing competition; it was a gathering of hearts wrapped in love and togetherness.

Before the singing competition began, the school head, Mam Lilian Paderes, left a warmest and sincerest message about the true meaning of this competition—it is to share joy and inspiration and celebrate the true spirit of Christmas.

As the first notes resonated through the school grounds, it was instantly transformed into a venue of Christmas spirits and celebration. Each group stepped onto the stage carrying not just the lyrics and notes of their chosen piece, but also a few weeks of rehearsal, persistence, and passion that made them deliver a heartwarming and captivating piece.

The board of judges, including Ms. Rowena Adormeo, Ms. Immaculate Obordo, and Ms. Kris Monserrat, focused on expression, voice clarity, and harmony, but beyond the score sheets was something immeasurable: the heart put into each performance.

As the competition drew closer to an end, it became clear that it had pulled off something greater than determining a winner. It reminded everyone that Christmas is best celebrated not through a perfect presentation but with strengthened connection wherein the spirit of Christmas was sung loud, with love, joy, and inspiration. In those moments, Batang Annex's voices became gifts in this season.

Grade V learners—the first-place winner mesmerized the audience with their graceful delivery, blending, and emotion. Following were the Grade IV learners, the second-place winner, and the Grade One learners, the third-place winner, whose performances were equally showcasing creativity, confidence, and a clear interpretation of the message behind their respective piece.

The Himig Bulilit 2025 ended with the heartfelt expression of gratitude to the other gift this season, which is the strong partnership among the stakeholders who played a vital role in turning the celebration into a resounding success. Among them were Ms. Virginia Sunga, who represented the Patriotic Lodge No. 70, and the Brgy. Captain of Brgy. IX, Hon. Godison Dimaculangan.

In recognizing the stakeholders, the school affirmed that in each and every successful note sung, there is always a strong support and collaboration happening offstage. It reminded that a small school like Lucena East VII Elementary School-Annex thrives in a community where collaboration has not only been heard but has also been truly felt and existed.

Classrooms of Lucena East VII Elementary School-Annex Wrapped in the Spirit of Christmas

As the Yuletide season arrived, the once-ordinary classrooms were transformed into spaces filled with warmth and vibrance through a classroom decoration competition. The event headed by our school head, Mam Lilian Paderes, became a meaningful celebration of the season, allowing the parents, students and teachers to express the true spirit of Christmas– being one another source of love, persistence , and inspiration.

Each classroom reflected christmas emblem and tradition. Handcrafted ornaments, twinkling lights, and carefully designed themes turned learning spaces into visual stories of love and hope.

Parents, teachers and students worked hand in hand, sharing ideas and talents, and giving one another an inspiration to craft a beautiful output after hard days of work and persistence. Through collaboration and built camaraderie , learners, parents and teachers realized that the essence of Christmas lies in unity, generosity, and shared purpose.

As the judges made their rounds, they witnessed not only well-decorated classrooms but also the values instilled in the process, the discipline, cooperation, and unity of everyone. They ended the competition as they chose the set of winners; 1st place winner- Grade 5 classroom, 2nd Place winner-Grade 4 classroom and 3rd Place winner Grade 2 Cattleya Classroom.

Indeed, the Christmas Classroom Decoration Competition brightened the school with more than a festive and merry colors, it illuminated the hearts of everyone with true spirit of Christmas.
