Turning Resilience into Action: Analyzing the Lessons of Typhoon Tino and other flooding events of Cebu
Last November, we were reminded of the raw power of nature when Typhoon Tino forced us to postpone our gathering. Originally set for November 5-7, 2025, the 13th ACES rises again this June 3-5, 2026 at the SAFAD Theatre of the University of San Carlos-Talamban Campus. Today, we stand stronger and more determined to find solutions.
We are proud to present one of the most critical sessions of the 13th ACES 2026: a deep-dive panel discussion on a topic that hits close to home for every Cebuano.
📍 Panel Discussion: "Socio-Ecological Evidence Analysis of Urban Flooding in Metro Cebu"
As we navigate the aftermath of recent climate events, our distinguished panelists will bridge the gap between scientific evidence, legal frameworks, and social realities to address why our streets flood and how we can build a more flood-resilient Metro Cebu.
Don’t just watch the news—be part of the solution. ✊
If you weren't able to register online, we are still welcoming walk-in participants at the USC-Talamban Campus. This is a conversation you cannot afford to miss.
