This afternoon, the LDRRMO convened the MDRRMC to conduct a Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment (PDRA) in preparation for Tropical Depression โ€œBasyang.โ€ This proactive initiative reinforces inter-agency coordination and supports timely preparedness measures in anticipation of TD Basyangโ€™s expected passage through the province on Thursday and Friday.

On January 26, 2026, the Municipality of Loay conducted the First Quarter Joint Meeting of the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC), Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) at the SB Session Hall.

The meeting was presided over by Municipal Mayor Atty. Hilario Ayuban, with the presence of MLGOO Mary Ann Aparece-Verga, and attended by members of the different councils. The activity aimed to review current peace and order, anti-drug, and disaster risk reduction and management concerns, and to strengthen inter-agency coordination and implementation of relevant programs and initiatives.
