AFP Ranks Among Top Trusted Government Institutions in Latest TNM Survey
The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) welcomes the results of the latest Tugon ng Masa (TNM) nationwide survey conducted by OCTA Research from March 19 to 25, 2026, which show that 72% of adult Filipinos trust the AFP, while 70% express satisfaction with its service performance.
The AFP noted that these results place the institution among the most trusted and best-performing government agencies in the country, reflecting sustained public confidence in its mandate and overall performance.
Conducted nationwide across the National Capital Region (NCR), Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, the survey shows that the AFP’s trust and performance ratings have remained steady over the past three quarters. Regionally, the highest trust (75%) and satisfaction (73%) ratings for the AFP are recorded in the Visayas.
The AFP expressed its appreciation to the Filipino people for their continued confidence and support, emphasizing that public trust serves as a vital motivation for its personnel to further strengthen professionalism, accountability, and excellence in service as it fulfills its constitutional mandate.

The Air Warfare Center (AWC) successfully conducted its Retirement Ceremony on 24 April 2026 at Fernando Air Base, Lipa City.

The highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of TSg Maureen A Dimaculangan PAF, SSg Rolly G Manalo PAF, and Sgt Hernito G Mendoza Jr PAF, honoring their years of dedicated and faithful service to the Philippine Air Force. Their careers reflect commitment, professionalism, and sacrifice, values that continue to strengthen the organization.

In a heartfelt farewell message, the retirees expressed their deep gratitude to the Philippine Air Force and the Air Warfare Center for the opportunities, trust, and experiences that shaped their military careers. They shared that serving alongside fellow Airmen was both an honor and a privilege, and they take pride in having contributed to the mission of AWC in developing doctrine for the advancement of air power. As they transition to the next chapter of their lives, they leave with cherished memories, lasting friendships, and full confidence in the next generation to carry on the tradition of excellence and service.

The Air Warfare Center (AWC) successfully conducted its Donning of Ranks Ceremony, Commanding Officer’s Well Done Awards, Bienvenida, and Despedida on 13 April 2026 at Bulwagang Makulot, Fernando Air Base, Lipa City.

The highlight of the ceremony was the donning of ranks of the newly promoted officer, 1LT JESSE JOHN ROHELL B MARTINEZ PAF, symbolizing his well-earned promotion and exemplifying his professionalism, exemplary leadership, and dedication to service.

The activity formally welcomed newly assigned personnel, reinforcing unity, cohesion, and esprit de corps within the AWC family. This was followed by a Despedida for outgoing personnel, recognizing their valuable contributions and dedicated service.

The activity also featured the Commanding Officer’s Well Done Awards, conferred upon distinguished personnel in recognition of their notable academic achievements and outstanding professional performance.

In his message, the Commanding Officer emphasized that growth comes from collective effort, continuous learning, and shared experiences, and encouraged everyone to uphold unity, professionalism, and commitment to the Air Warfare Center’s mission.
