⁨📷⁩ ⁨IN PHOTOS | Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026

On 11 April 2026, the 3rd Air Reserve Center (3rd ARCen), under the leadership of COL HAROLD V HERNANDO PAF (GSC), facilitated and supported the conduct of the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) at Fernando Air Base, Lipa City.

The inspection was led by LTC NORWIN DG LICOTO PAF (GSC), Assistant Chief of Command Staff for Education and Training, C-8, Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC). The activity aimed to aimed to assess the administrative and tactical proficiency of participating ROTC units, ensuring adherence to prescribed training standards and evaluating cadet performance across key functional areas.
Key areas assessed included Close Order Drill, Record Firing, Basic Life Support, Comprehensive Examination, records and documentation, and DMST Inspection. The RAATI also served as a venue to validate the effectiveness of ROTC program implementation, promote excellence among participating schools, and identify best practices and areas for improvement in training and leadership development.

The successful conduct of the inspection reflects the 3rd ARCen’s continued commitment to strengthening ROTC training, fostering discipline and competence among cadets, and supporting the development of a responsive and capable reserve force in service of national defense.

IN PHOTOS: On 02–03 April 2026, the 3rd Air Reserve Center, in partnership with Tactical Operations Group 5 – Reserve, successfully conducted the distribution of food and water to devotees during the “Alay Lakad” in honor of the Image of Santo Entierro in Calabanga, Camarines Sur.

Personnel were strategically positioned along the route to ensure the timely and orderly distribution of assistance to passing devotees. Through close coordination with partner agencies, the activity was carried out efficiently, providing comfort and support to participants throughout the procession.

This initiative underscores the commitment of the 3rd Air Reserve Center and Tactical Operations Group 5 – Reserve to public service, compassion, unity, and care, helping ensure a safe and meaningful observance of Holy Week.

IN PHOTOS: On 02–03 April 2026, the 3rd Air Reserve Center, in coordination with Tactical Operations Group 5 – Reserve, ensured the safety and orderly movement of pilgrims and devotees by implementing crowd control measures during the “Alay Lakad” in honor of the Image of Santo Entierro in Calabanga, Camarines Sur.

Focused on maintaining peace and order, personnel were strategically deployed along key routes and convergence areas, working closely with local government units and the Philippine National Police to manage foot traffic and assist participants throughout the procession. Through these efforts, the activity was conducted safely and smoothly, contributing to a solemn and meaningful observance of the Holy Week with no untoward incidents reported.

This initiative highlights the 3rd Air Reserve Center and Tactical Operations Group 5 – Reserve dedication to public service by fostering safety, respect, and unity, helping preserve the meaningful and peaceful conduct of this sacred tradition for all participants.

On 15 March 2026, the men and women of the 3rd Air Reserve Center (3rd ARCen) proudly welcomed 𝗠𝗚𝗘𝗡 𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗘 𝗗 𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗙, Commander, Air Force Reserve Command, during his first field visit to Headquarters, 3rd Air Reserve Center, Fernando Air Base, Lipa City, Batangas.

The visit commenced with Arrival Honors hosted by 𝗕𝗚𝗘𝗡 𝗣𝗘𝗗𝗥𝗢 𝗦 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗢 𝗣𝗔𝗙, Deputy Commander, Air Education and Training Command (AETC). This was followed by the Guest Book Signing, where MGEN PETINGLAY was warmly received by the officers and personnel of the Flaming Blades at Headquarters 3rd Air Reserve Center.

Subsequently, the Blessing of the Newly Renovated Facilities was conducted, including the RRU Multi-Purpose Hall and the Pugad ARCen Building, which further enhances the Unit’s capacity to support reserve force training, administration, and operational readiness.

The highlights of the activity included the Pinning of Chevrons for newly promoted enlisted reservists, the awarding of the Top Performing Personnel of 3rd ARCen, the Awarding of the Top Performing Personnel of the Ready Reserve Unit (RRU), and the Talk to Troops delivered by the Commander, AFRC.

During his engagement with the personnel, MGEN PETINGLAY emphasized the vital role of reservists in national defense and community resilience, underscoring the importance of developing a Ready, Reliable, and Relevant Reserve Force capable of responding to both national security requirements and community support operations.

The activity concluded with the Unit Briefing, and the Command Dissemination by the Air Force Reserve Command Staff.

The visit reinforced the Command’s strategic direction and strengthened the commitment of the Flaming Blades in supporting the Air Force Reserve Command’s thrust of building a Ready, Reliable, and Relevant Reserve Force.

This March, the 3rd Air Reserve Center (3rd ARCen) proudly joins the nation in celebrating National Women’s Month, recognizing the invaluable contributions of women in the Armed Forces of the Philippines and their vital role in nation-building.

At the 3rd ARCen, women continue to demonstrate professionalism, competence, and leadership in fulfilling the unit’s mission of managing, training, and developing the Philippine Air Force Reserve Force in Southern Luzon. Through their dedication in leadership, administration, training, and operational support, they help strengthen the readiness and capability of the Reserve Force and contribute to the overall mission of the Philippine Air Force.

The women of the 3rd ARCen embody the strength, resilience, and commitment of Filipino women in uniform—serving with honor, integrity, and unwavering dedication to duty.

𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 2026 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐀𝐁, 𝐋𝐢𝐩𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲.

On 28 February 2026, personnel of 3𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐢𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫, successfully administered the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) to the qualified examinees of the Probationary Officers Training Course (POTC) Class of 2026 within the Center's Area of Responsibility.

The activity was conducted at Fernando Air Base (FAB), Lipa City, under the supervision of personnel from the Command Special Services Office, Air Education and Training Command (AETC).

The PFT serves as a vital assessment to evaluate the physical strength, endurance, and overall readiness of aspiring officers.

Applicants who successfully passed the fitness test will proceed to the Physical Examination phase, bringing them one step closer to earning their place in the prestigious POTC Class of 2026.
