On 15 March 2026, the men and women of the 3rd Air Reserve Center (3rd ARCen) proudly welcomed ๐ ๐๐๐ก ๐ฅ๐ข๐ก๐๐ ๐ ๐ฃ๐๐ง๐๐ก๐๐๐๐ฌ ๐ฃ๐๐, Commander, Air Force Reserve Command, during his first field visit to Headquarters, 3rd Air Reserve Center, Fernando Air Base, Lipa City, Batangas.
The visit commenced with Arrival Honors hosted by ๐๐๐๐ก ๐ฃ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข ๐ฆ ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ง๐ข ๐ฃ๐๐, Deputy Commander, Air Education and Training Command (AETC). This was followed by the Guest Book Signing, where MGEN PETINGLAY was warmly received by the officers and personnel of the Flaming Blades at Headquarters 3rd Air Reserve Center.
Subsequently, the Blessing of the Newly Renovated Facilities was conducted, including the RRU Multi-Purpose Hall and the Pugad ARCen Building, which further enhances the Unitโs capacity to support reserve force training, administration, and operational readiness.
The highlights of the activity included the Pinning of Chevrons for newly promoted enlisted reservists, the awarding of the Top Performing Personnel of 3rd ARCen, the Awarding of the Top Performing Personnel of the Ready Reserve Unit (RRU), and the Talk to Troops delivered by the Commander, AFRC.
During his engagement with the personnel, MGEN PETINGLAY emphasized the vital role of reservists in national defense and community resilience, underscoring the importance of developing a Ready, Reliable, and Relevant Reserve Force capable of responding to both national security requirements and community support operations.
The activity concluded with the Unit Briefing, and the Command Dissemination by the Air Force Reserve Command Staff.
The visit reinforced the Commandโs strategic direction and strengthened the commitment of the Flaming Blades in supporting the Air Force Reserve Commandโs thrust of building a Ready, Reliable, and Relevant Reserve Force.
