The University of BatangasโLipa Campus ROTC Unit proudly conducts the Field Training Exercise (FTX), a significant training activity aimed at enhancing the knowledge, skills, discipline, and leadership capabilities of ROTC cadets. Through a series of practical and hands-on exercises, participants are given the opportunity to apply military concepts and develop competencies essential for service, leadership, and personal growth.
The training includes Water Safety, Individual and Dual (IAD) Drills, Reveille, Knot Tying, First Aid Training, and Marksmanship. These activities are designed to strengthen physical endurance, teamwork, decision-making, and responsibility while equipping cadets with valuable skills in emergency response, life-saving procedures, and military preparedness.
Conducted on May 30โ31 at Tally-Ho Garden Resort and on June 1 at the University of BatangasโLipa Campus, the Field Training Exercise serves as a culminating activity that bridges classroom learning with real-world application. More than a training event, it fosters resilience, character development, and a strong sense of service, preparing cadets to become disciplined, capable, and community-oriented leaders committed to serving the nation.
