In line with the observance of National Women’s Month, the 440th Aircraft Maintenance Group (440AMG), Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Philippine Air Force, proudly presents this Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP) honoring the invaluable contributions of women in the organization.
The AVP highlights the strength, dedication, and professionalism of women personnel of 440AMG who continuously demonstrate excellence in their respective fields both in operational and administrative roles. It showcases their vital role in advancing the Group’s mission while promoting gender equality, empowerment, and inclusivity within the organization.

The 440th Aircraft Maintenance Group (440AMG), Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Philippine Air Force, successfully conducted an Aircraft Maintenance System Seminar aimed at enhancing the technical knowledge and operational proficiency of its personnel.

The activity gathered various Subject Matter Experts who discussed key aircraft maintenance systems, best practices, and current updates essential to sustaining airworthiness and mission capability. The seminar served as a platform for knowledge exchange, reinforcing standard procedures and promoting a deeper understanding of maintenance operations within the Group.

Through comprehensive discussions and expert insights, participants were equipped with updated information and practical approaches that contribute to safer, more efficient, and mission-ready aircraft maintenance practices.

The activity concluded with the presentation of Certificates of Appreciation to the participating Subject Matter Experts in recognition of their invaluable contributions. The awarding was led by LTC RYAN JOSEPH L MAGBOJOS PAF, Deputy Group Commander, 440AMG.

This initiative highlights 440AMG’s continuing commitment to professional development, technical excellence, and the advancement of maintenance capabilities in support of the Philippine Air Force’s mandate.

The 440th Aircraft Maintenance Group (440AMG), Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Philippine Air Force, successfully conducted its 1st Quarter Safety Meeting on 27 February 2026 at Hangar A, Fernando Air Base, Lipa City, Batangas.
The activity commenced with the arrival of the Presiding Officer, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and an invocation. The program included the welcome remarks of 1LT VINCENT ANTHONY B BRENDIA PAF, Assistant Group Safety Officer, 440AMG.
Key highlights of the meeting included lectures on Operational Stress Management and Mental Health Awareness, the latest Service Bulletin, and Safety Lessons Learned—further reinforcing the Group’s commitment to operational excellence and personnel well-being.
The Group likewise recognized the Subject Matter Experts who shared their invaluable knowledge and expertise. Certificates of Appreciation were personally awarded by LTC RYAN JOSEPH L MAGBOJOS PAF, Deputy Group Commander, 440AMG.
In his message, LTC MAGBOJOS PAF emphasized the critical role of safety consciousness, discipline, and proactive risk management in the successful accomplishment of the unit’s mission.
This quarterly safety engagement underscores 440AMG’s steadfast dedication to cultivating a culture of safety, resilience, and mission readiness in steadfast support of the Philippine Air Force’s mandate.

Some social media posts are twisting the 2024 COA Audit Report to suggest AFP corruption. The “unauthorized” accounts mentioned were for soldiers’ welfare, and most cash advances have already been settled. AFP has received “𝗨𝗻𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀” for seven straight years, showing its finances are fair and transparent.

Selectively quoting audit observations distorts the facts and is disinformation.
