EARTHQUAKE ADVISORY

As of this time, based on the latest assessment and monitoring conducted by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and concerned authorities, our area has "not sustained any significant damage" from the recent earthquake. Normal operations and activities may continue.

However, residents are advised to remain vigilant as "aftershocks may still occur" in the coming hours or days. Everyone is encouraged to observe safety precautions and stay informed through official government channels.

Should a stronger aftershock occur that results in significant impacts, damages, or poses a threat to public safety, the Local Government Unit, through the MDRRMO, will immediately issue a separate advisory regarding the possible cancellation or suspension of classes, work, and other activities as necessary.

We encourage the public to remain calm, avoid spreading unverified information, and await official announcements from authorized agencies.

The above conditions are being experienced in , (Socorro, SiargaoIsland), (Siasi and Pandami) which may persist within 2-3 hours and may affect nearby areas.
