READ || Pangasinan PESO conducts Back-to-Back Job Fairs for Hopeful Jobseekers

Hopeful jobseekers took a step closer to their career goals as the Pangasinan PESO conducted back-to-back jobs fair through a Job Fair Caravan held at Level 3, SM City Urdaneta Central in Urdaneta City on March 25, 2026 followed by a Regular Jobs Fair at the PESO Multipurpose Hall, Capitol Complex in Lingayen on March 26, 2026.

During the two recruitment activities, jobseekers submitted resumes, inquired about various career options, and took initial steps toward potential employment, resulting in a combined total of 58 applicants hired on the spot.

Government one-stop shop agencies also provided on-site assistance to help applicants understand employment programs and the social services they offer.

For jobseekers, job fairs organized by the Pangasinan PESO, headed by Provincial PESO Manager Ma. Richelle M. Raguindin, and championed by Governor Ramon V. Guico III, serve as valuable opportunities for them to pursue stable and rewarding employment.

HAPPENING NOW || Pangasinan PESO enhances Skills with Basic Nail Care Training

Participants from across the 5th District of Pangasinan are enhancing their nail care skills at Saroju’s Farmview Hotel in Nancamaliran East, Urdaneta City, as the Pangasinan PESO conducts a Basic Nail Care Training aimed to support potential income-generating opportunities.

In celebration of National Women’s Month, the community-based skills training is being conducted in partnership with 5th District Board Member Rosalina C. Apaga and TESDA Pangasinan, led by Provincial Director Alvin L. Yturralde, providing learning opportunities in basic nail care, allowing the 42 trainees to develop useful skills that may help them start a small livelihood or expand their employment options.

Showing their support for community skills development and women empowerment were Board Member Rosalina Apaga, Consultant on Social Services Ms. Chinky Perez-Tababa, representing Governor Ramon V. Guico III, and Provincial PESO Manager Ma. Richelle M. Raguindin.

The training is currently facilitated by TESDA-accredited trainers, guiding participants through discussions and practical demonstrations, in support of Governor Guico’s priorities of promoting skills empowerment and community livelihood development across Pangasinan.

READ || Pangasinan OFW Family Federation holds its Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony of Newly-Elected Officers

On March 26, 2026, the Pangasinan OFW Family Federation, Inc. (POFFED) successfully held the induction and oath-taking ceremony of its newly-elected officers for CY 2026–2028 at the Pangasinan PESO Multipurpose Hall, Capitol Complex, Lingayen.

Provincial Administrator Manuel Luis Jr. officiated the ceremony as the inducting officer, formally administering the oath to the federation’s new officials and members, with Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Baby Ruth F. Torre, Office of the Governor representative Atty. Kandace Lorraine M. Palagud, and Provincial PESO Manager Ma. Richelle M. Raguindin, whose presence reflects the provincial government’s continued support for the welfare of Pangasinan OFWs.

The event highlighted elected officers reaffirming their commitment to supporting federation and provincial initiatives, concluded by newly-elected President Mr. Eddie D. Angeles delivering a heartfelt message of gratitude and pledging to uphold the organization’s programs for the OFW community.

Empowered by the unwavering support of Governor Ramon V. Guico III and the Pangasinan PESO led by Ms. Raguindin, the OFW-centered federation continues to strengthen its programs in leadership, advocacy, and community service, ensuring that Pangasinan OFWs and their families benefit from ongoing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth.
