𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗕𝗢𝗔𝗥𝗗

A significant milestone was achieved today as the PDAO Pangasinan Advisory Board convened its inaugural meeting, bringing together dedicated leaders, advocates, and stakeholders committed to advancing inclusive development and improving the lives of persons with disabilities in the Province of Pangasinan.

The meeting served as a platform to discuss priority programs, strengthen collaborative partnerships, and provide strategic guidance on policies and initiatives that promote accessibility, inclusion, empowerment, and equal opportunities for all.

As an advisory body, the Board shall play a vital role in shaping responsive and evidence-based interventions that uphold the rights, dignity, and full participation of persons with disabilities in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) and relevant national laws.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the strong support of our Hon. Gov. Ramon V. Guico III and all Board Members for their commitment, expertise, and shared vision of building a more inclusive and disability-responsive Pangasinan.

Together, we move forward in creating a province where no one is left behind.

The Provincial Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) of the Province of Pangasinan thru the leadership of our very supportive Governor Hon. Ramon V. Guico III extends its heartfelt congratulations to the student-athletes of DepEd Pangasinan II for their outstanding performance in the Palarong Pambansa Para Games 2026.

Your achievements reflect not only excellence in sports but also the realization of rights under the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD), Article 30, which upholds the right of persons with disabilities to participate in sports and recreation on an equal basis with others. These accomplishments are likewise grounded in Republic Act No. 7277 (Magna Carta for Persons with Disability), as amended, which promotes full inclusion and equal opportunities for persons with disabilities in all areas of life, including sports development.

Through your determination, discipline, and resilience, you have shown that barriers can be overcome when opportunities are made accessible and inclusive.

You have brought pride to the DepEd Pangasinan II your families, coaches, and the entire Province of Pangasinan.
