Celebrating of the 60th Founding Anniversary of the Province of Southern Leyte with the theme:
"PANGANDAM SA BAG-ONG PANAHON"

MEMORANDUM ORDER No. 2020-06-14 signed by our Mayor Hon. Shirlita Y. Chong.

The Municipality of Liloan, Southern Leyte will celebrate and conduct a "Synchronized Flag Raising Ceremony with a Brief Program and Tree Planting Activity".

Pursuant to Memorandum Order No. 92, Series of 2020 issued by Governor Damian G. Mercado dated June 25, 2020, Synchronized Flag raising Ceremony with a Brief Program and Tree Planting Activity in Celebration of the 60th Founding Anniversary of the Province of Southern Leyte with the theme: "Pangandam sa Bag-ong Panahon" amidst the challenge brought by the pandemic of COVID-19.

In view thereof, all municipal officials and employees are hereby enjoined to participate the above mentioned activity.

Safety protocol will be applied such as wearing of face-mask and physical distancing shall be observed.

"MOBILE MARKET"

The Local Government Unit of the Municipality of Liloan, Southern Leyte initiated by our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Shirlita Y. Chong through the Municipal Agriculture & Services Office together with the Liloan Farmers Agriculture Cooperative (LIFACO) will launch a program called "MOBILE MARKET", a market on wheels to allow consumers to buy basic goods such as grains, vegetable, fruits, canned goods, dry goods and many more starting tomorrow and every Tuesday of the week..

Advisory from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to all Provincial Governor, City Mayors, Municipal Mayors, BARMM Chief Minister, DILG Regional Directors, and other concerned.

Subject: Provision of Markets for Municipal Fisherfolk and small farmers during the State of Public Health Emergency, and Enhanced Community Quarantine.

This project aims to lessen the crowd visiting our establishment like wet market, grocery store, public and private establishment, also lessen their transportation cost amid the Heightened Community Quarantine due to threats of COVID-19.

Mobile Market will start tomorrow only on Tuesday, travel route from Brgy. San Roque to Brgy. Bahay, Liloan, Southern Leyte.

Thanks to our very supportive Mayor, Hon. Shirlita Y. Chong in making this program into realization.
