Candidates, both winners and losers, have ongoing responsibilities beyond the elections. They are mandated to submit their Statements of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE). Within 30 days after the election day, it is required that the candidate files a complete, truthful, and itemized statement detailing all contributions and expenditures associated with the election to the Comelec.
