Sampongan Elementary School conducts the State of the School Address cm ARAL Program Recognition Day—honoring achievements, strengthening partnerships, and inspiring every learner to shine.
The State of the School Address (SOSA) brought the school community together in a meaningful celebration of achievements and future goals. The program opened with a solemn prayer led by Mr. Jonathan M. Orilla, the Kindergarten Teacher and the singing of the national anthem conducted by Mrs. Aiza P. Cruz, Grade 1 teacher, setting a respectful and unified tone. This was followed by the State of the School Address of Mr. Dar Joseph Mariscotes, the school head of Sampongan Elementary School—which highlighted key accomplishments, shared important updates, and outlined plans for continuous improvement.
The SPTA Assembly came next, featuring reports from Ms. Rochel Borbo, the SPTA treasurer and Mr. Jun Broñia , the SPTA president. It was followed along with discussions facilitated by class advisers to strengthen collaboration between parents and the school.
The event concluded with the ARAL Program Recognition, where learners were awarded ribbons in recognition of their efforts, and volunteer tutors received certificates of appreciation for their dedication and support. Present in the activity were the Sampongan ES teaching and non-teaching personnel, parents, pupils, and the ARAL tutors namely: Ma’am Sara Mae G. Rempillo, Ma’am Mona Riza Nieva, and ma’am Janice Ortega.
Overall, the gathering not only celebrated academic progress but also underscored the strong partnership among educators, parents, and learners—reaffirming the school’s commitment to quality education and active community involvement.
