In celebration of Earth Day 2025, we successfully led a school, community, and coastal clean-up drive activity!

Together with SSLG and BKD officers, we collected and properly disposed of piles of waste, making our surroundings cleaner and safer for everyone.

This initiative serves as a strong reminder that change occurs in a big way when small acts are done by many. Let’s take action to protect and nurture our planet, EVERY SINGLE DAY!

3 major forces of Limasawa National High School join together to make a change and lead with example. On September 9, 2024, the YES-O, SSLG, and BKD combined their efforts for the first ever Monthly Clean Up Drive this school year 2024-2025. For the goal of a greener and brighter school, let us work together. Not just as a student, but as a person with the responsibility of taking care of our one and only home♻️❀️.

God places Adam in the Garden of Eden and gives him the responsibility to both work and take care of it. This verse conveys the idea that humans are not merely inhabitants of the Earth, but rather custodians entrusted with its care.

"To work it" implies that humans are meant to engage in productive labor, using the resources of the Earth for sustenance and growth. This could include activities like farming, cultivation, and tending to the land.

"To take care of it" emphasizes the importance of stewardship and conservation. Humans are tasked with nurturing and preserving the environment, ensuring its health and vitality for future generations. This involves practices such as sustainable resource management, environmental protection, and respect for the natural world.

Genesis 2:15 reminds us of our responsibility to cultivate and protect the Earth, recognizing that we are intricately connected to and dependent upon the natural world.

"β€œOur consistent efforts, even in small ways, can cultivate a healthier planet for ourselves and future generations.”

The verse from Galatians 6:9, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up," is a powerful motivator for environmental stewardship. Just as the verse encourages persistence in good deeds, it applies caring for the Earth.

Environmental challenges can feel daunting, and progress may seem slow. But this verse reminds us that consistent action, even in small ways, can yield positive results in the long term.

By following this verse's message, we can ensure a sustainable future for ourselves and future generations. So, let us not be discouraged by the immense task of environmental protection. Let's persist in doing good for the Earth, and together, we will reap the harvest of a thriving environment.
