✨ HIGHLY FUNCTIONAL – Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Their Children (LCAT-VAWC) Functionality Assessment 2026

These recognitions reflect the unwavering commitment of the Municipality of Lianga in promoting the rights, welfare, protection, and development of children, women, and vulnerable sectors through effective local governance, strong inter-agency collaboration, and dedicated public service.

This accomplishment would not have been possible without the leadership and support of our Municipal Mayor Hon. Amado M. Layno, Jr., the Sangguniang Bayan, partner agencies, barangay officials, and all members of the MCPC and MCAT-VAWC.

Special recognition is extended to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), serving as the Secretariat and one of the lead offices behind the implementation, coordination, documentation, and monitoring of child protection and anti-VAWC initiatives in the municipality.

Ang Multi-Stakeholder Inspectorate Team (MSIT), pinangulohan ni Engr. Rowie F. Imperial, representante sa MPDO, kauban ang KALAHI-CIDSS ACT-MCT, Barangay Council, ug ang Operation and Maintenance, nagpahigayon og inspeksyon sa mga proyekto sa KALAHI-CIDSS para sa ikaduha ug ikatulo nga Sustainability Evaluation Test (SET). Kini aron masuta ang pagdumala sa O&M Group sa matag proyekto, ang serbisyo nga gihatag niini, ug mapahibalo ang mga kalihukan sa proyekto. Gihimo kini sa Barangay Liatimco, Anibongan, Baucawe, Payasan, ug San Isidro niadtong Mayo 19-21.

On April 15, 2026, a Serbisyo Caravan was successfully conducted at KM 9, Sitio Simuwao, in line with the ceremonial send-off of our IP (Indigenous Peoples) brothers and sisters as they return to their respective homelands.

The activity gathered various government agencies and partner stakeholders to provide essential services and assistance, ensuring that the beneficiaries are well-supported prior to their reintegration into their communities. It also served as a moment of unity and solidarity, recognizing the journey and resilience of the IP families.

The ceremonial send-off symbolized a new beginning, as the IP communities take a step forward towards rebuilding their lives in a safe and familiar environment. Through this initiative, the local government reaffirmed its commitment to continuously support and empower Indigenous Peoples, promoting dignity, peace, and sustainable development in their communities.

Ang pagpagahigayon sa Child Sexual Abuse Awareness and Safer Internet Day cm Children’s Congress naghatag og luna alang sa mga bata aron mapalalom ang ilang kahibalo bahin sa kaluwasan, proteksyon, ug husto nga paggamit sa internet.

Gipili nga mga bata gikan sa nagkadaiyang year level sa elementarya ug high school ang mitambong sa kalihokan, kauban ang ilang mga coach ug magtutudlo nga naggiya ug naghatag og suporta kanila sa tibuok kalihokan.

Pinaagi sa mga diskusyon ug kalihokan, gipakita ang kahinungdanon sa pagpanalipod sa mga bata batok sa sexual abuse ug online threats. Usa kini ka lakang nga nagpalig-on sa tingog sa kabatan-onan ug naghatag og paglaom nga ang tanang bata mahimong luwas, responsable, ug andam sa pag-atubang sa digital nga kalibutan.
