This initiative reflects the Bureau of Fire Protectionโ€™s (BFP) strong commitment to operational excellence and emergency preparedness under the leadership of the Officer-in-Charge of the BFP, FCSUPT WILBERTO RICO NEIL A KWAN TIU, DSC, with the guidance of the Regional Director of BFP Region 6, FCSUPT EDWIN P VARGAS, DSC, and the Office of the Iloilo Provincial Fire Marshal, headed by FSUPT MELANIE G HABAWEL, DSC, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal.

The initiative aims to ensure that all BFP personnel remain adequately trained, highly competent, consistently prepared to fulfill their mission, and fully equipped to respond to fires and other emergencies in faithful service to the Filipino people.

leon Fire Station, Shift b duty personnel, under the supervbision of SFO3 John T Terre, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted Firetruck Familiarization as part of the daily skills refresher.
This activity aimed to enhanced the personnel's knowleged and familiarity with the firetruck.

Leon Fire Station led by SFO3 John T Terre, participated in the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill on four (4) schools within the AOR. A Simulation exercise was conducted to assess the preparedness and efficiency of the school in managing to emergency situations. This activity provides an opportunity to strengthen coordination and communication among the Schools, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine National Police, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and Barangay Officials.

This exercise reflects the Bureau of Fire Protection unwavering commitment to operational excellence in continuously ensuring that all BFP personnel remain vigilant and fully capable to deliver prompt and efficient service.
