As Chairman of the Committee on Rules and Political Affairs, I had the opportunity to conduct committee hearings at Barangay Isian Norte, Barangay Barangbang, Barangay Baje and Barangay Biri Norte to review and evaluate ordinances submitted by our respective barangays, together with Committee Members SB Eric Castigador Camposano and SB Ruben Calicaran.

This initiative ensures that local measures are aligned with existing laws, responsive to community needs, and geared towards effective governance. By bringing the legislative process closer to the grassroots, we strengthen transparency, accountability, and collaboration between the barangay and municipal levels.

As a public servant, I remain committed to making government services more accessible and responsive, because real progress begins when we listen, engage, and act alongside our communities.

Panginbulahan sa Sitio Cumpan, Barangay Bucari bangud sang isa naman ka handum nga natuman pinaagi sa pagpakongkreto sang inyo Basketball Court, isa sa mga proyekto sang Iloilo Provincial Government sa pagpanguna ni Gov. Toto Defensor.

Ini nga proyekto indi lamang isa ka basketball court kundi simbolo sang pagbinuligay, paglaum, kag inspirasyon para sa kabataan kag sa bug-os nga komunidad sang Sitio Cumpan.

Isa gid ka dako nga kadungganan kag pribilehiyo ang pagtambong sa Blessing sang Concreted Basketball Court kag sa opisyal nga pagbukas sang Summer Basketball League. Ang kalipay kag suporta sang komunidad nagpabaskog sang kahulugan sang sini nga okasyon.

Madamo gid nga salamat kay Gov. Toto Defensor sa padayon nga suporta kag serbisyo para sa katawhan.

Bilang mga SB member, suno sa aton Local Government Code, ang amon katungdanan amo ang mag dihon kang mga layi kag polisiya nga iga-implementar kag aton executive department. Lakip sa amon katungdanan ang mag hinun-anon sa mga tawo (public consultation) para ma batian ang ila sentimento kag opinyon.

Kang Huebes, May 14, 2026 ang Committee on Health and Sanitation nga gina pangunahan kag inyo alagad imaw kanday SB Eric Castigador Camposano kag SB Trexie Jan Villacastin, madinalag-on nga na presentar kag na pa approbahan sa publiko ang apat (4) ka mga proposed ordinances nga iga pasaron kang amon komitiba.

Importante ang Public Hearing para ma paalinton kag mapa-hangop sa aton kasimanwa ang anda papel sa maka-demokrasiya nga proseso kang pag dihon kag pag implementar kag mga layi kag polisiya kang banwa. Didya aton ma patpat sa mga tawo ang kaundan kag layi kag makuha ang ila sentimento kag suhestiyon para mas mapa baskog pagid ang mga ordinansa kag layi nga aton paga-pasaron.

Ang kauswagan kang aton banwa, yari sa kamot naton tanan. Tanan kita may limog kag kinamatarong nga mangin kabahin kang pag himo kang mga layi para sa kauswagan kang tanan.
