Talisay, Calaca City, Batangas.

Hinihikayat ng CGSS Lemery ang mga naninirahan sa Coastal Barangays na kung maaari ay lumikas ng maaga at magtungo sa pinkamalapit na Evacuation Centers sa inyong lugar upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng lahat.

Nagsagawa ang mga miyembro ng Coast Guard Sub-Station Lemery ng pag-iikot at pagpapaalaala sa mga residenteng nakatira malapit sa dalampasigan ukol sa paparating na bagyong "OPONG"

Pinaalalahanan ng CGSS Lemery ang publiko na umiwas muna sa paglalangoy, pangingisda, at pamamasyal sa dalampasigan. Pinayuhan din ang mga residente na maging mapagmatyag at handa sa inaasahang epekto ng Bagyong Opong. Hinihikayat din ang mga residenteng malapit sa baybayin dagat ng maagang paglikas upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng lahat.

International Coastal Clean-Up 2025

On 20 September 2025 the personnel of Coast Guard Sub-Station Lemery actively joined hands with government agencies, private institutions, students, and civic organizations in support of the Simultaneous International Coastal Clean-Up Driveβ€”a global movement that aims to protect and preserve our marine environment.

In celebration of International Coastal Clean-Up Day, the Coast Guard Sub-Station Lemery participated in the Coastal Clean-Up Activity along the shoreline of Brgy. Anak Dagat and Brgy. Maguihan, Lemery, Batangas. The activity was successfully carried out through the collaboration and participation of Brgy. Officials of Anak Dagat and Brgy. Maguihan, 4Ps beneficiaries, Brgy. Functionaries, Teachers and Students from Lemery Pilot Elementary School and Lemery Senior High School.

The International Coastal Clean-up activity has been successful due to the collaboration of all participating agencies, non-government sector and civilian volunteers. Said activity was to raise awareness on the impacts of pollution, promoting sustained action to protect ocean health and biodiversity.

The protection of marine environment is not only a sole obligation by the government but rather it is everyone’s responsibility thus, this endeavor would definitely have benefited the populace as a whole most particularly the coastal residents of said barangay’s and also for our mother nature.

Tingnan : Nagsagawa ang Coast Guard Sub-Station Lemery at ang MEP-ERU STL ng Information Drive patungkol sa Intensified Community Assistance, Awareness, Response, and Enforcement (iCARE) Program sa mga Barangay ng Brgy. Anak Dagat, Brgy. Maguihan, Brgy. at Brgy. Sambal Ilaya sa bayan ng Lemery, Batangas na dinaluhan din ng Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) Lemery noong ika 19 ng Setyembre 2025 sa Brgy. Anak Dagat Covered court.

Layunin ng aktibidad na maihatid sa komunidad ang mahahalagang impormasyon hinggil sa epektibong pamamaraan sa pamamahala ng basura na responsibilidad ng bawat mamamayan, lalong lalo na ang nakatira malapit sa mga dalampasigan upang mapanatili ang kalinisan ng karagatan. Tinalakay din sa nasabing aktibidad ang limang pangunahing tungkulin ng Philippine Coast Guard at ang kahalagahan ng Safety, Security, and Environmental Numbering (SSEN) System na naglalayong itaguyod ang tamang pagkakakilanlan ng mga motorbanca sa bayan ng Lemery.

Ang iCARE program ng PCG ay ang magsisilbing kaagapay ng mga mamamayan sa pagsusulong ng kaligtasan, seguridad, at pangangalaga sa kapaligiran ng ating mga komunidad.

π‹πŽπŽπŠ: On 09 July 2025, Ensign John Paul Bayan PCG, newly designated Sub-Station Commander of Coast Guard Sub-Station Lemery, paid a courtesy call to Hon. Naereeza Grace M. Bainto, Municipal Mayor of Taal, Batangas, and Hon. Oscarlito M. Hernandez, Municipal Mayor of San Luis, Batangas.

The meeting highlighted stronger collaboration between the Philippine Coast Guard and the LGU of Taal and San Luis in key areas such as:
βœ… Maritime Security
βœ… Preservation of the Marine Environment β€” through intensifying the enforcement of ordinances on waste management, anti-littering, and coastal protection
βœ… Safety in Local Tourism activities
βœ… Disaster Readiness & Emergency Response
βœ… Activation of the Coast Guard Sub-station in Taal and in San Luis

Ensign Bayan expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and reaffirmed Philippine Coast Guard's commitment to protecting lives and properties at sea, and supporting local initiatives.
This visit signaled a strengthened alliance between CGSS Lemery and the Municipality of Taal and San Luis toward a safer, more resilient maritime environment and a well-coordinated approach to peace and order!
