The Committee Hearing conducted under the Committee on Barangay Affairs, chaired by Hon. City Councilor Atty. Amore Rex B. Rañeses, was successfully concluded.
The hearing focused on the review of a Barangay Ordinance authored by yours truly, which adopts and implements the City of Legazpi’s Comprehensive No Smoking and No Va**ng Ordinance within the territorial jurisdiction of Barangay 1, EM’s Barrio.
This important legislative process reinforces our commitment to public health protection, responsible governance, and the promotion of smoke-free and vape-free communities, in full alignment with existing city policies. x
