PTCAO - Albay is the official tourism and promotion arm of the Provincial Government of Albay WARM ALBAY is every traveler’s memento.

Tourists may expect to find revelers dancing in the streets in celebration of a religious or agricultural festival almost every month. These festivals last for several days and feature activities showcasing the local culture, practices, and beliefs. The Provincial Tourism, Culture, and Arts Office and the Municipal and City Tourism officers convened for today's Albay Tourism Officers Association (ALTOA) 3rd Quarterly Meeting held at the AVP Plenary Hall, Legazpi City.

Key discussions centered on aligning local tourism programs and activities specificalky for the upcoming Tourism Week celebration , strengthening destination marketing, and implementing sustainable initiatives to further elevate Albay's tourism landscape. Through close collaboration among our local government units, we continue to work hand-in-hand to champion our heritage, culture, and natural wonders.

TOURISM MONTH 2026: CAPTURING THE BEAUTY OF ALBAY 📸

In celebration of SEPTEMBER IS TOURISM MONTH 2026, the Provincial Government of Albay, through the Provincial Tourism Office, is committed to empowering our frontline tourism officers and staff.

This month, we are hosting a Basic Photography Workshop specially designed to enhance the skills of our dedicated Tourism Staff. The goal is to equip them with the proper techniques to capture the stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant experiences that Albay has to offer from the perfect cone of Mayon to our historic churches and scenic coastlines.

Equipping our tourism frontliners ensures they can better promote Albay as the ultimate , both to local and international visitors.

Every September 2, the Province of Albay commemorates 𝘚𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯 𝘖𝘭𝘢 𝘋𝘢𝘺, a special non-working holiday honoring the birth anniversary of 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣 𝘼. 𝙊𝙡𝙖—the last Filipino general to surrender to American forces during the Philippine-American War.

His courage, patriotism, and unwavering love for our country remain a lasting part of Albay’s history and heritage.
