Together, we can make a difference! Earlier today, Barangay 4 Sagpon successfully conducted its Basic Life Support and Fire Safety Prevention Seminar at the Brgy. 4 Sagpon Multi-Purpose Hall.

This vital initiative was made possible through our 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐁𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌) 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 the collaboration of 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 for the Basic Life Support. This aims to build a safer, healthier, and more resilient community. 🤝❤️🔥

Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na Dengue Prevention Campaign, isinasagawa ng Barangay 4 Sagpon ang ating Weekly 𝟒 𝐎’𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭 upang makatulong sa pagpapanatili ng malinis at ligtas na kapaligiran.

Kaisa natin sa gawaing ito ang 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥, 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦, 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐊 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 sa sama-samang paghahanap at pag-aalis ng mga posibleng pamugaran ng lamok. 🦟🚫

In accordance with the emergency directives issued by the Provincial Government of Albay, Local Government Units (LGUs) in Albay, the Albay Public Safety and Emergency Management Office (APSEMO), the Provincial Health Office (PHO), and the Department of Health (DOH) Albay, the City Government of Legazpi hereby announces the suspension of classes in 𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟𝗦 (elementary and high school) from Monday to Friday, and in 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟𝗦 (elementary and high school) on Thursday and Friday, to mitigate the recent surge of Dengue cases in the city. Furthermore, 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗦 (both public and private schools, colleges and universities) are SUSPENDED this coming THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.

CITY-WIDE MITIGATION EFFORTS

​During this period, the City Government of Legazpi, in coordination with health and safety agencies, will conduct massive dengue mitigation measures across all barangays. Key operational activities include:

𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗨𝗽 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀: Intensified search and destruction of mosquito breeding sites on school premises, in public spaces, and in residential areas.

𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Systematic chemical treatment in high-risk areas and educational institutions.

𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 & Larvicide Application: Active case monitoring, public health education, and application of larvicides in standing water sources.

All residents are strongly urged to practice the 𝟰𝗦 Strategy at home: Search and destroy breeding places, Secure self-protection, Seek early consultation, and Support fogging/spraying in hotspot areas.

🦟 DENGUE AWARENESS | 4 O’CLOCK HABIT

As part of the Dengue Awareness Campaign, Barangay 4 Sagpon conducts the 4 O’Clock Habit through the Barangay Public Address System, reminding residents to regularly check their surroundings and eliminate possible mosquito breeding sites.

Let us all do our part in keeping our homes and community clean and safe. Search and Destroy—every day, every home! 💚

As part of our continued efforts to prevent dengue, information flyers were distributed to residents to raise awareness on dengue prevention and the importance of keeping our surroundings clean.

Residents were also encouraged to practice the 4 O’Clock Habit—Search and Destroy possible mosquito breeding sites by checking and removing stagnant water around our homes.

Ngayong Setyembre 2, ating ginugunita ang katapangan at pagmamahal sa bayan ni Heneral Simeon Ola, isang dakilang anak ng Albay na nag-alay ng kanyang tapang at paninindigan para sa kalayaan ng ating bayan.

Bilang mga Albayano, patuloy nating buhayin ang kanyang mga aral—ang pagiging matatag sa harap ng hamon, ang pagkakaisa para sa kapakanan ng nakararami, at ang pagmamahal sa ating lupang sinilangan.

Nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon sa bawat isa sa atin ang kanyang buhay at pakikibaka upang patuloy nating paglingkuran ang ating mga kababayan nang may malasakit, integridad, at puso.
