BATANGAS POLICE ARREST PROVINCIAL MOST WANTED PERSON FOR ALLEGED CRIME OF R**E IN ALITAGTAG, BATANGAS

Camp Gen. Miguel C. Malvar, Batangas City — At about 11:50 PM on January 20, 2026, a joint police operation conducted by personnel of Alitagtag Municipal Police Station (lead unit), in coordination with the Pinamalayan Municipal Police Station, resulted in the successful arrest of a.k.a. JR in Barangay Zone 3, Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro.

The accused is identified as a.k.a. JR , single, 30 years old, and a resident of Barangay Muzon 2nd, Alitagtag, Batangas. The suspect was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for the alleged crime of R**e (Sexual Assault) issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 86, Taal, Batangas, with a recommended bail of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (PHP 200,000.00).

An Alternative Recording Device was utilized during the conduct of the operation to ensure transparency and accountability.

The accused was duly apprised of his constitutional rights pursuant to RA 7438 (Miranda Doctrine) and RA 9745 (Anti-Torture Act of 2009) and is currently under the custody of the Alitagtag Municipal Police Station, while pertinent documents are being prepared for the return of the Warrant of Arrest to the issuing court.

BATANGAS POLICE ARRESTS SUSPECT FOR ALLEGED VIOLATION OF RA 9165 AND RA 10591 THROUGH IMPLEMENTATION OF SEARCH WARRANTS IN IBAAN, BATANGAS

Camp Gen. Miguel C. Malvar, Batangas City—On January 21, 2026, personnel of Ibaan Municipal Police Station, together with RIU4A PIT Batangas, arrested a.k.a. RYAN for violation of Republic Act No. 10591 (Comprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act) and Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) at Barangay Matala, Ibaan, Batangas.

The suspect was identified as a.k.a. RYAN, 43 years old, male, single, a driver, and a resident of Brgy. Matala, Ibaan, Batangas.

The operation was conducted through the implementation of two (2) search warrants for alleged violations of Republic Act No. 10591 and Republic Act No. 9165, both issued by the Executive Judge of Lucena City.

The search of the suspect’s house and premises was conducted in the presence of a Barangay Councilor, a media representative, and relatives of the suspect.

The following items were seized and confiscated during the operation:
a. One (1) black pouch;
b. Four (4) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with an estimated total weight of 0.50 grams and an estimated Standard Drug Price of Php 3,400.00;
c. Six (6) live ammunition of caliber 45; and
d. Two (2) live ammunition of caliber 38.

Two Alternative Recording Devices (ARD) were also utilized during the conduct of said operation. The suspect was apprised of his constitutional rights and is presently under the custody of Ibaan MPS while pertinent documents are being prepared for the filing of appropriate charges before the proper prosecutor’s office.

"Dine sa Batangas, walang takas!" Ito ang naging babala ng kapulisan matapos malambat ang isang lalaking itinuturing na Regional Most Wanted Person sa lalawigan.

Kinumpirma ng Batangas Police Provincial Office ang pagkakaaresto sa suspek na kinilala sa alyas "Tanoy," bente-sais (26) anyos, at isang mangingisda.

Sa operasyong ikinasa kaninang alas-dos y-bente (2:20 PM) ng hapon sa Barangay Cuta, Batangas City, hindi na nakapalag ang suspek nang ihain ng mga tauhan ng Batangas Component City Police Station ang warrant of arrest laban sa kanya.

Mabigat ang kinakaharap na kaso ni "Tanoy"—anim (6) na bilang ng Qualified R**e! Ang nasabing warrant ay inisyu mismo ng Regional Trial Court, Branch 1, Batangas City, ngayong araw, Enero 20.

Walang inirekomendang piyansa ang korte para sa pansamantalang kalayaan ng suspek.

Tiniyak naman ng kapulisan na naging maayos at "by the book" ang operasyon dahil gumamit pa ang mga operatiba ng Body-Worn Camera upang matiyak ang transparency sa kanilang pagsisilbi ng batas.

BATANGAS POLICE ARRESTS SUSPECT FOR ALLEGED VIOLATION OF RA 9165 AND RA 10591 IN BATANGAS CITY

Camp Gen. Miguel C. Malvar, Batangas City – On January 21, 2026, operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Team of Batangas Component City Police Station, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, successfully arrested the suspect a.k.a. DUDAN during the buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Calicanto, Batangas City.

The arrested individual was identified as a.k.a. DUDAN, 63 years old, married, a driver, and a resident of Brgy. Calicanto, Batangas City.

The arrest resulted in the confiscation of the following pieces of evidence:
a. Three (3) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, with an estimated total weight of more or less 52.20 grams and an estimated Standard Drug Price of Php354,960.00;
b. One (1) C**t caliber 45 pistol;
c. One (1) magazine loaded with three (3) live ammunition of the same caliber;
d. One (1) belt bag;
e. Nine (9) pieces of Php1,000.00 boodle money; and
f. One (1) piece of Php1,000.00 genuine bill used as buy-bust money.

The entire operation was documented using two Body Worn Cameras. The marking and inventory of the confiscated evidence were conducted at the place of arrest in the presence of the arrested suspect, Media Representative, and Barangay Councilor of the said barangay.

A.k.a. DUDAN was properly apprised of his constitutional rights and presently detained at the custodial facility of Batangas CCPS. Appropriate charges for Violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Republic Act No. 10591 (Comprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act) are being prepared for immediate referral to the Batangas City Prosecutor’s Office.

“This successful operation underscores our relentless campaign against illegal drugs and loose fi****ms in the province. We will continue to intensify our efforts to ensure the safety and security of every Batangueño,” Dine sa Batangas, walang takas!” stated PCOL SIBALO.
