NEWS | CSU adjusts operations with flexible work arrangement

To support national energy conservation efforts, Cagayan State University (CSU) has introduced a flexible work arrangement across its campuses, modifying personnel schedules and class delivery beginning March 11.

In a memorandum issued by the Office of the University President, the university directed non-teaching personnel and designated officials to report onsite from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., effectively implementing a four-day workweek while maintaining service continuity.

Academic operations were likewise adjusted, with faculty conducting regular onsite classes from Monday to Thursday, while lecture classes scheduled on Fridays will shift to an online modality.

Laboratory classes, however, may continue onsite depending on course requirements, while graduate school classes will proceed according to their existing schedules.

The directive aligns with Memorandum Circular No. 114, which requires government institutions to implement energy-saving measures amid rising power demand. #

𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | Due to the anticipated weather conditions and scheduled General Assembly, all classes shall shift to asynchronous classes tomorrow, November 27, 2025.

All faculty members are authorized to shift to asynchronous learning and are also required to submit proof of the conducted asynchronous classes.

Further, there will be no face-to-face classes or meetings, except for the following groups, who are required to report for their Pre-Deployment Orientation:

• BSIT students who will be deployed for OJT
• BSED English and BEED students who will be deployed for Teaching Internship

Sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Region II, opisyal nang ilulunsad ng Cagayan State University – Lasam Campus ang programang CHOCO-TALK sa 98.1 FM Radyo Bayanihan, isang makabuluhang segment na naglalayong itampok ang dunong, kuwento, at mga oportunidad mula sa industriya ng cacao — mula sakahan hanggang sa bawat tasang tsokolate.

Sa ganap na 7:00 ng umaga bukas, Nobyembre 25, 2025, muling pinagtitibay ng unibersidad ang layunin nitong palakasin ang kaalaman at impormasyong pangkomunidad sa pamamagitan ng edukasyon at malikhain ngunit makatotohanang talakayan.
