|| FIVE CSU ACADEMIC PROGRAMS EARN LEVEL III ACCREDITATION FROM AACCUP

Five academic programs of Cagayan State University across its campuses have successfully obtained Level III accreditation following evaluation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).

At the Aparri Campus, the Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management both earned Level III accreditation after the 3rd Survey Visit Phase 2 conducted on December 8–10, 2025. The accreditation is valid from December 16, 2025, to December 15, 2029.

Meanwhile, at the Lasam Campus, the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology major in Automotive Technology, Food Technology, Electronics Technology, and Mechanical Technology, along with the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, also received Level III re-accreditation following the 3rd Survey Visit Phase 2 Revisit of All Areas conducted on November 12–14, 2025. Their accreditation is valid from November 16, 2025, to November 15, 2029.

Additionally, the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Animal Science and Crop Science of the Gonzaga Campus was upgraded from Level II to Level III accreditation, with validity from November 16, 2025, to November 15, 2029.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝗩𝗣𝗜𝗣𝗥𝗠 𝗖𝗮𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗦𝗨’𝘀 “𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁 𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁”

In the spirit of compassion and shared responsibility, Dr. Ana Marie Cristina C. Cauilan, Vice President for Internationalization, Partnership, and Resource Mobilization (IPRM), expounded on the “Adopt a CSU Student” Program held on October 8, 2025, at the CSU Lasam Campus.

Anchored on CSU’s mission to ensure inclusive and accessible education, the seminar served as a platform to present the program’s objectives, benefits, and implementation framework—bridging generous individuals, organizations, and benefactors with deserving students in need of financial and moral support.

𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻
Dr. Cauilan underscored the realities faced by many CSU students who struggle to afford basic needs such as housing, meals, and transportation.

“Maraming mga estudyante natin ang halos hindi na makapag-almusal; nagfa-faint sila kapag may mga activities sa school kasi awan ti maigatang da. Isu nga ajay bassit lang nga maitulong tayo, dakkel ti papanan na. Through this, we can also help them achieve their dreams,” she remarked.

Her message emphasized that beyond financial aid, the initiative represents CSU’s collective commitment to uplifting students’ well-being and fostering a culture of empathy across the academic community.

The “Adopt a CSU Student” Program introduces seven adoption tiers, each corresponding to a specific level of assistance aligned with academic performance.

-White Tier – ₱2,000, no GWA required
-Green Tier – ₱2,500, GWA of 80
-Blue Tier – ₱5,000, GWA of 82
-Yellow Tier – ₱7,500, GWA of 85
-Maroon Tier – ₱10,000, GWA of 88
-Platinum Tier – ₱15,000, GWA of 90
-Legacy Tier – ₱25,000, GWA of 92

“Adopt a CSU Student” program is one of the initiatives of the university designed to support financially challenged students by connecting them with benefactors, organizations, and individuals willing to extend assistance.

CSU Lasam takes another creative leap through the Capacity-Building Workshop on AVP Conceptualization and Packaging, happening on October 9–10, 2025, at Solomon’s Hotel, Magapit, Lal-lo, Cagayan.

A collaboration of the Campus Information Office, HRMO, Training Office, and KTMPO, this workshop empowers participants to turn concepts into compelling campus stories.
