Moderate to Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over (Babatngon, SanMiguel, Barugo, Carigara, Capoocan, Leyte), (Cabucgayan, Caibiran, Biliran), (TagbilaranCity, Dauis, Pres.CarlosP.Garcia, Ubay), (Dalaguete), (Cauayan, CityOfSipalay, Pontevedra), (CityOfGuihulngan, LaLibertad, Jimalalud, Tayasan), (Dumalag, Dumarao), (Maasin, Alimodian, Leon, SanMiguel), (Culasi and Tibiao) within the next 1 to 2 hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in (Daram, Zumarraga, Villareal, Talalora, SantaRita), (Cortes, Maribojoc, Panglao), (Candoni), (CityOfMaasin), (Matalom), (Cuartero), (Cabatuan, Mina, NewLucena, SantaBarbara), (Madalag), (Sibalom and Hamtic) which may persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates.

Moderate to Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over (SanJorge, Tarangnan, Pagsanghan, CityOfCatbalogan, Talalora), (Babatngon, SanMiguel, Capoocan, Carigara, Villaba, MatagOb, Tabango) and (CityOfSipalay) within the next 30 minutes to an hour.

The above conditions are being experienced in (SantaMargarita, Gandara, Villareal, SantaRita), (Leyte, Kananga) and (Candoni) which may persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

DOST-PAGASA raises its ENSO Alert and Warning System to El Niño Watch. 🌤️

Conditions are still ENSO-neutral, but the probability of El Niño is increasing in the coming months. Potential impacts include reduced rainfall and drier-than-usual conditions in parts of the country. However, above-normal rainfall conditions during the Southwest Monsoon Season (Habagat) may also be experienced over the western part of the country.
